Our goals:
1. Divert organics away from the landfill and upcycle the materials to valuable compost that nourishes the soil
2. Generate employment and entrepreneurial opportunities
3. Process everything at ambient temperatures with no or limited use of electricity and other gadgets
4. Optimize the ability of community gardens and other appropriate public spaces to process organics
5. Influence our city and county’s Zero Waste future to incorporate decentralized, microenterprise based models of composting. We also want to help entrepreneurs by providing a business model to start their own programs
