Footprints Cafe

Me and my wife went there on date night. We paid the $30 cover to see comedy and the band. It took 45 minutes for someone to finally come over and take our order after I asked the bus boy 2 times. The bus boy gave us the best service. My wife ordered the grill chicken which taste like POISON smells!. I ordered the oxtails which had good flavor but were not tender at all. Do not go there for service or the food. If you want to pay $30 for entertainment then this is the place for you! P.S I usually do not do this but the experience was so bad I am putting this review on everything I can. If I could summarize this review and put it on bumper sticker I would.

Two months ago, this review would have been all excellent but service is really suffering at Footprints. They've started charging just to be in the club area even when you're just having dinner as long as a band is playing. I called and made a reservation for my husbands birthday. They never said that was their new policy or that a band would be on that night. They just charged us an extra $15 at the door. Mind you, we brought two other couples with us and im glad they had the extra cash. For the first time, the service was horrible and the manager was giving lip and didn't even have a table for us...even with a reservation. When the steam finished coming out of my ears, I told him you need to fix this situation NOW...we are regular customers and we're not having this. Somewhere he found a table to accommodate us. but i think he realized that I was ready to make a scene if I needed to. The food was great as usual but service was slower and the whole situation just left a bad taste. They need to get their act together since they're only getting one more shot.

My husband and I visited here because of all of the rave reviews from friends. I must say I was very dissappointed with the way we were treated. My husband and I requested a booth and we were told by the manager that after 8:00 p.m. booths are for groups of four and more....mind you the place was empty when we arrived. Since we really wanted to try the food we said fine. The hostess sat us at a dirty table with very uncomfortable chairs. The waitress did clean the table at our request. We noticed other couples of two were being sat at booths. So my husband asked the manager could we be moved to a booth. The manager told my husband "we are not like other restaurants and that's how run things." Point taken...we will never return and I can assure you neither will any of our friends. Lets try to learn how to treat customers fairly.

My husband and I went out to Footprints tonight for dinner and it was the absolute worse experience ever. We paid $20 to eat dinner in the area where the band was playing. We sat down and it literally took 30 minutes for someone to hand us a menu after we asked several times. I asked my waitress for water twice and I still never got it. My husband had to ask a manager to bring me a glass of water. The waitress passed by me several times and completely ignored me when I tried to get her attention, she would purposely keep her back to me. I have never in my life experienced such rude service from someone at a restaurant. My friends had warned me that Footprints had gone down hill but we took a chance because we didn't want to drive to Atlanta, but how I wish we had done so. The night was awful. Slow service, horrible food and rude servers. Even the Reggae band lacked energy tonight. I don't know if it's because the members are a bit older, but they lacked energy and were putting me to sleep. No passion, no energy, as my husband put it "they sounded so flat" lol I love Reggae and I love Jamaican food so I was highly disappointed. When Footprints first opened their service was slow but the food and entertainment made up for it. Now, they have slow service, rude servers and the food is awful. I ordered the wings and they were so tiny, and had no flavor at all. I ordered Roti and had to send it back because the roti bread was so hard. Don't waste your time and money. Footprints will never see me again!

I attended a birthday party at Footprints Cafe and had a wonderful time. Love the venue decor is very nice and the staff was very friendly. There is plenty of parking also. The live band and dj kept the crowd on the dance floor all night. Enjoyed the Rasta Pasta.

Finally went to Footprintscafe Ga in Lawrenceville, Georgia I must say i will not go again. I had to find my way around to pay to get in the staff was not Helpful, and my order was Messed up- We ordered Shrimp and got chicken instead we left it alone we ordered from the bar and it was not what we ordered. We had to seat ourselves-- and if we did not flag our staff to take our order we would prob had to serve our selves. Resolution: Contacted them and they Did not respond - and disregard the Complaint. BTW they 2X chard our cards as well and management never contacted us. Its a Shame i gave them an opportunity to resolve their issue-- Im Upset and will be Yelping this for the Public to see, and i will also be reviewing them on Google. It only takes a Moment to apologize for bad service and mistakes PS their was less then 30 People in your Restaurant and it takes 1 bad experience to give you plenty Bad reviews. Small Local Businesses should be better aware of their Loyal Community Members wanting to Support them.

Rasta Pasta is delicious...highly recommended....nice atmosphere. Jazz band was great. staff was polite with the exception of one...she was a little rude seemed to be in a rush...by end of the night she started to coming around...overall very enjoyable....

Atmosphere was nice but the service is horrible. Waited to be greeted doe half an hour at the door, half at the table, am hour to get food. Only reason I stayed was bc of the birthday crew I went with.

Great place. Fun atmosphere with grown folks. The live band before the DJ on Saturdays is awesome. Good food, good drinks just good fun!

Very Modern and comfy dining experience. The rasta pasta and jerk wings are amazing. If I didn't live so far-I would probably be here every day!
