From the time I placed my father to rest 34 years ago at this memorial garden I knew I wanted my family members to be placed here as well. My father purchased 2 plots 40 years. I purchased 3 plots 20 years ago. My mother is now in your care. I tell everyone about your caring service. Your grounds are so well kept which make love ones visits rather soothing and pleasant.
The staff were very professional, compassionate and attentive. ARTHUR was extremely helpful and ensured my grandmother's memorial service was exactly what we wanted it to be. Arthur's level of professionalism and care was above excellent. Highly recommend him to all families that have lost of a loved one. Thank you for all you did for my grandmother and my family to honor her, Arthur. You are amazing at what you do. Thank you on behalf of all my family.
Forest Lawn Cementery is a very beautiful and clean place. Has different options for everyone's budget. Mr. Andre took the time to explain everything and kept communicating through the whole process with me. I feel like a gain a whole new family with all the staff of Forest Lawn and specially with Mr. Andre . I am so thankful for everything he did for me and my family. Thank you.
The passing of a loved one mother is never easy. The void and sadness left behind is unimaginable. As difficult as this was me and my family. Everyone at Forest Lawn was so helpful and empathetic to our feelings and what our family was going through. A special thanks to Dedrea for making that day go a smoothly as possible, even through our deeply felt pain. Thank you all
My father’s funeral service was on February 4, 2023. Anthony and Arthur Tomkins the funeral directors were extremely professional, caring and helpful. Arthur went above and beyond to ensure the service went well. My family was very satisfied with the service provided by forest lawn. Thank you!
Vanette was very helpful, she made our Mother's funeral arrangements easy. No pressure at all. We told her what we wanted and she made it happen. She showed excellent customer service and and made sure everything was right for the day of my mother's homegoing service. Would definitely refer her to others.
Michael Walsh is the most empathetic, pleasant and patient person I have seen in recent years. Contrary to any salesman I never felt pressured to make my choice, he laughed at my continuing golden age jokes that’s me and I think he should be cloned and placed one in front of every sales business in the entire planet. Thank you Michael, for making me feel like I was buying a mansion on the beach.
Every staff member who we dealt with at our time of sorrow was caring and wonderful. The funeral director, Arthur, went above and beyond to meet all our needs. He was extremely kind and empathetic.
The Funeral Director Anthony and his staff was very caring, and professional. They were also there whenever we had a question. I would most definitely recommend them to my friends and family.
At a time when losing your loved one is hard enough, it was overwhelming watching my Father struggle to breathe due to Covid in a hospital bed. The time came when God was ready for him, yet we were not, our hearts and mind were not processing it completely as we always held out hope for him. His nurse had asked us if we had a funeral home in mind, we said yes but we hadn't called FL yet. I told her we would call her back with the info once we had it. This is where our sorrowful yet beautiful journey began with FL. We initially were guided by my Aunt Mel who has 4 plots purchased there since the 1980's. My paternal Grandmother is buried there since 1989 as well as my Uncle my aunt Mel's husband in 1999 She gave me the info for the plot next to my Grandmother as her wish was for her only son my Father to be buried next to her when the time came. The unfortunate time came on 3/25/2022. Fast forward to the afternoon of 3/25/2022 and we spoke to Michael Walsh who had spoken to my Aunt prior, he spoke to us and said he would have the funeral director reach out to us in a little while. The call of a lifetime that would help us cope and know where we wanted to stay with as far as cremation services and everything else that entailed my Father's funeral services would be in good hands with. Brianna called us back in no time, offered her most sincere condolences and her sweet voice won us over, she explained in full detail what our options were important to mention that my Father expressed while alive that he didn't want a viewing, he wanted to be cremated and put to rest as he was a very private and humble man Brianna was very professional, thoroughly detailed and answered our questions, put our minds at ease. I expressed to her that we would call her back with a definitive answer as I needed to get the funds for the services. I spoke to my Mom and she said yes, lets do everything with FL. Little secret, Brianna's sweet voice won my Mom's heart as well as ours. We met Brianna that same day my Dad passed in the afternoon, and it got even better here. We were greeted by the staff at the front of FL office, what a sweet welcome in a somber mood for us, your staff is to be commended for their loving and compassionate welcome, we weren't a number, we were like family. Brianna and Reyes came out to welcome us , what a great team those two beautiful individuals make! The professionalism, their immaculate presentation and more than anything, their human side to a grieving family was heavenly! My brother from Mexico who is the GM for United Airlines in Cancun accompanied us to FL, my daughter, my Mother and myself felt so loved and warmed our hearts to have these two fine individuals explaining to us every detail of how my Father's services would be handled. Reyes, wow, what can I say about him, a professional in every way possible, very comforting, soothing and answered questions we had. Forest Lawn has a great asset to their company with Reyes, my family and I consider him family now! He made our sorrow that day soothing and calm. Brianna, she fits right up there with angels on earth, she was and is so supportive, so kind, so professional and so human, what the world lacks now, she has love, compassion and professionalism built into her. Losing my Dad shattered my heart into a million pieces, Brianna and Reyes were the glue that held those pieces together while we were entrusting our loved one into their hands. It requires special people to maintain the high standards and professionalism of Forest Lawn , Brianna, Reyes and the staff of FL have exemplified all of that. Brianna kept us informed of the cremation process and delay, we understood it was a process and it was a blessing for us to have informed updates, we knew that Dad was in the best of care with FL. Respect, compassion and kindness is what we received from day one. My family and I will forever be indebted to them for the care of my Father, Guillermo Rishmawy. Respectfully Yours, Claudia Rishmawy and Family
