Me and my fiance have been living in the park for about 3 months now. Ralph one of the managers goes out of his way to answer any questions or help out the best he can. We've been traveling for the last 2 years and stayed in too many rv parks and campgrounds to count, but this is definitely on the top of our list. Prime location between lincoln city and Newport, miles of beautiful oregon coast you could spend years exploring. Fogarty state park aswell as fishing rock state park are both less then a 5 minute walk. Laundry room, men and women bathrooms with several nice tiled showers. 30 and 50 amp hook ups. Plenty of parking for several vehicles. If your looking for an rv park to call home in a awesome area check out FOGARTY CREEK RV PARK!
Great atmosphere and very friendly community as well. 5 min walk from a great beach spot. The caretaker and park manager are very welcoming and doing an amazing job the place looks fantastic!
We are living here for now, I like the park, space's could be a little bit bigger. We have a bath house, and a laundry room on site. And in good proximity to new port, and Lincoln City, and we are 2 to 3 miles north of the sea wall in Depoe bay. We can hear the ocean, but not see it. We are on the east side of 101. If your looking for a place for your RV on a month to month this is a good place call and get your name on the waiting list.
Manager and assistants are quite congenial. The quick walk to the beach is terrific. Wifi is a bit sketchy and our older TV didn't work with their cable set up. That was okay though. We just got out games. Thanks Ralph and crew for helping us enjoy our vacation.
We had a fantastic experience during our stay. The park was very clean and close to the beach and shopping. The manager of the park was friendly and willing to help us with our RV needs!
This RV park is a great place to stay. This park is very clean and kept up for the guests who come in.
Poor management. When a husband said he rather have his dog than his wife. Made us uncomfortable. Sweet in the beginning, aweful ending. Hopefully the owner is aware. It makes people uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Plus the womens bathroom showers has holes in the walls. Not okay. Beach is close though!
This park is falsely advertised! We called in and reserved 4 RV spots 5 months in advance of our family vacation. The lady in the office was helpful, however it was a bit of a hassle to get a conformation email sent to me. When we arrived the grumpy camp host was less than accommodating and we were disappointed to find out our reservation meant nothing and we were not all camped together as we were told when making reservation. Getting our RV's parked with the camp host directing traffic was a cluster. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and quickly called to find someplace else to stay upon arriving and finding that the website photos are not what the park really looks like. The park is crowded, not much shade and NOT near the ocean. This is more of a park for people to live in with a few camping spots thrown in the middle. The showers seemed creepy with no privacy. We were not given a code for the restrooms, and when we couldn't find the host we got a code from the office door that was posted. Anyone could have seen it, leading to a lack of security. There was NO kids and seemed to be not kid friendly, mostly older people that lived there. I never saw or was told of the "recreation room". Under amenities on the website it says easy beach access and photos of the ocean. Unless you play a hardcore game of Frogger and run across the 6 lane highway or drive to the beach there is NOT easy beach access. The longer term resident right across from us had 2 large dogs, they had lawn furniture spread out taking up some of our space as well as theirs. They let their dogs out to use the bathroom and they would pee right in our space right outside the front door of our Motor Coach. There is no other way to avoid walking through this and tracking this in and out of our RV. You could see that this in the primary choice for the dogs as the grass was all dead in the area. SO GROSS! We had 4 spots, 15 people stayed only 1 night. Out of the 5 campgrounds we stayed at in 11 days. Fogarty Creek RV Park was the WORST. You are better off saving money and staying in a parking lot for free!
Brenda and Mike the managers of Fogarty Creek Park couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The park is very nice, adjoining the State Park and just a 5 minute walk to the ocean. The bathroom and laundry was always clean and fully functional. I felt very safe and comfortable. My dog Bailey felt right at home. Other RVers were also friendly as well as the full time residents. I would love to go back. I was there for 6 weeks during the rainy spring but Brenda and Mike created an atmosphere of fun with their pot lucks and Buncko Nights. There is a short cut to the forest right in the park which made for great little walks for my energetic Jack Russell Terrier.
Sites are extremely small!! You can smell the cigarette smoke from the site next door. Greedy owner put in too many sites in a small area. Workers are constantly asking you to move your towed vehicle or towing vehicle out of the way so somebody can move in or out. Supposedly the WiFi went out the day I arrived and wasn't fixed four days later. 2 pages of WiFi SSIDs lead me to believe that the more permanent residents didn't reply on the parks WiFi. I won't stay here a 2nd time! Too many good spots.
