My dad was the closest person to me. When I stood at his grave, alone as I watched the burial I couldn’t imagine him being alone in that moment Curtis and the man from the cemetery stood there and chatted about where to get the best steak in Canton. I get that it’s another day at work but that was my father, my whole world. His burial deserved more respect. Why even bother if you’re just going to be callous while a man’s daughter is breaking down? The grave diggers had more respect and professionalism than these two buffoons. You couldn’t have that conversation somewhere else? Grow up or change professions.
