I suppose it is not easy to find real taste of Taiwanese food in Non-Taiwan countries so I shouldn't be too harsh on this place. Husband took me here by surprise and we did have a lot of fun here. The waitress was sweet and funny and made me feel like home though the food was not impressive. Didn't try too many dishes but I was a bit disappointed. The atmosphere was quite nice though for a busy Saturday night~
We were on our way down to NYC and found this restaurant close to us. Luckily, I had one of my best experiences with the mango milkshake here. Sichuan fish and garlic sauce vegetable is great. Very good Taiwan style food. Would like to come back again when we passing by.
Excellent food here! A whole page of vegetarian options with meat substitutes available for many other menu items. We went at 1 pm. We had very good service and the food came out very quick. Check out the mouth watering pictures!
This place is OK. This is my first time here in my first impression was less than exciting. However the food was very good and the price is right. The decor and Ambience leave a lot to be desired the building overall is in serious need of an update. I'm not a Taiwanese food expert but I enjoyed my meal.
We had a delightful dinner Monday evening. The highlights were the exquisite steamed dumplings made with paper thin dough and steamed whole bass in scallion ginger garlic slivers. Took me back to my childhood. It's not easy to find bass anymore.
We loved it. Went back again in the following week. In particular I like the variety of the many choices on their menu, some of which you would normally get only in places in Flushing Queens, NYC. i.e. They are what I considered authentic Chinese cuisine, way above the average "take out" levels...
I had the beef with spicy sweet garlic sauce and it was delicious! I wasn't too impressed with the pork bun though. Too much dough. Service was excellent!
From NYC, daughter attends Vassar College. Not exactly NYC Chinese food, but they are probably the best Taiwanese cuisine around campus. Spicy Ma Po tofu with pork is great, along with some Book Choy.
Good food, dreadful service. The waitress wasnt even able to answer basic questions about what was in the dishes. We spent close to an hour waiting for our food. We left with only just having eaten appetizers. People who came in 15 minutes after us had gotten their food and eaten and we were still stuck waiting.
The traditional Chinese food is very good and not like generic takeout Chinese food. I have enjoyed the bed with black pepper sauce especially. The bubble tea is otherwise average.
