Poughkeepsie Popeyes

I went inside to order a shrimp tackle box and was told they have no more shrimp. I returned inside to find they did have shrimp, while it was being pulled from the warming tray. As per a previous customer saying that it was the second time, this particular Popeyes did not have the item; I can truly say the workers there are truly a bunch of liars!l I had to repeat my oder five times, I can see why this location is SLOW. My adive is not to drive to the drive through or go inside, I suggest drive right on by and don't waste your time!!

We felt we should have left before we ordered, it looked really rough outside. It gave a really bad impression, and we were right. They wouldn’t do single pieces of chicken, we usually order a single breast and it comes to $3 plus tax. We wanted a 3 piece tender as well and they did full meals and the tenders were terrible. $16+ later and so dissatisfied!

Good food, good prices. This store was a little slow, but friendly. It had a drive through, and places that have one seem to place higher priority on the drive-thru, at the expense of the lobby customers. Staff was plentiful, yet they passed me by 10 times before someone finally took my order. Although restrictions are lifted most everywhere, this dining room is still closed. UPDATE: I love buttermilk biscuits with my meal. Got home after 15 minutes, and what do you think is missing.... the biscuits! That's because there were 10 people working the drive-thru, and one the desk was one girl that started working there last week. Don't try to call on the phone, I'm sure the phone's off the hook. NO voice-mail.

The female manager there who usually works the morning/afternoon shift is awful and needs to work on her customer service. Today same day I am writing this, I had another awful encounter with her in which she ignored my pickup order that was ready to simply be bagged after already waiting a ridiculous amount of time prior, so she could work on completing other orders for people who came in minutes after me. I have heard similar issues from other delivery drivers and customers about her lack of customer service and professionalism. As someone who was a manager myself, she is not cut out for the position. She needs to do better or find another job.

Was going only because it is nearest Popeyes. Then, we started going out of our way to avoid this one. The atmosphere is not too welcoming. Service is extremely slow even when not busy. They have, at times, missed part of our order. New Popeyes on Route 9. Won't be going back to this one again.

Friendly staff, quick service, epic chicken so good Adam Sandler vouched for them even if it was just in a movie lol, an excellent place to stop and fill the gut with the family or friends!Food: 5/5

I wish I could give the store itself 5 stars. But nevertheless, I would like to honor someone who I believed has displayed kindness, compassion, dignity, and a meek polite character. His name is Erik. Many times I have visited Popeyes and the service was so-so. Erik has truly shown a heart of gold. It takes one to change the world and his kindness to Popeyes will flourish into a token that will be able to shed a smile on all faces he meets. Let us as humans continue in a path of diligence that we sensitize ourselves in proper character. Even though Erik works in Popeyes he is full of humility. We must strive to be full of humility! The seed you sow will shape what you grow. Erik, continue to be a lighthouse an a amazing representation of who we all should be. And God bless your parents! Skip this Popeyes. Other Popeyes locations are much better and provide much better customer service. Nobody is perfect. And we always go out of our way to support local business. But we seem to consistently have multiple issues with this particular Popeyes. Last night we ordered from the app. We tend to do this because they are oft times slow, due to understaffing. So we often flex to using the app. When our son showed up to pick up the order, they had given our order to someone else. When our son showed them the receipt on his phone and they realized they made a mistake, the manager said "What am I supposed to do; check everyone's receipt when they pick it up?!". He said "Yes." My son then showed them the confirmation email for the order. Even with that proof, they still said he would have to pay again for another order. After about 20 minutes of saying my son's receipt was a fake and refusing to make good on the order, they realized how crazy the question was that the manager asked and finally decided to give us our order.....and just like many other times, it was wrong.

I ordered 2 chicken sandwich meals and an 8 piece meal. The manager at the window gave me a hard time about asking for just thighs and legs. I got was missing the Mac n cheese and it looked like they gave me the smallest chicken in the bunch. For $55 do better Popeyes!!!Food: 2/5

Tried to call the Wappingers Popeyes but you get the Poughkeepsie Popeyes when you call the number on the website. Wanted to tell the manager in Wappingers that the young gentleman at the window needs to be removed. Went thru the drive thru Sunday after waiting on line for a long time with only 2 cars ahead of me…. He didn’t say hi, bye, or thank you. The Poughkeepsie drive thru, there’s a woman who’s the most welcoming and pleasant person that I have ever met. I rather spend my money there then the convenience of Wappingers.
