Fort Bragg Dog Park

We were visiting from out of town and heard about the park while enjoying a beer at Overtime Brewing. The people were friendly and all the dogs got along well. There is no shade, but it's not nearly as hot as the Central Valley where we are from. Dog-friendliness: Dog park has water.

Very nice dog park, ground cover material is wonderful wood chips, helps keep smell down and comfy for dog's paws.

This dog park was smaller than our local one but it was very well maintained and my dog Buddy really enjoyed being able to stretch his legs after our road trip. They keep the poo bags well stocked which was helpful since I did forget to get a bag from my car when we got out.

Nice and clean, but very limited seating and no shade covers. Has separate yards for small and large dogs. Our dogs were bored as there was nothing to explore, just wood chips on the ground. But a good place for dogs visiting with each other.

Had a great experience here with my dogs. All the dogs and humans we met were friendly and considerate. I have to keep one of mine on a leash due to guarding tendencies and no one had any problem with that. Yes, dogs need to be supervised but any time I’ve seen an issue at a dog park it’s usually because of the human, not the dog!

My favorite dog park in California. It was hard for my little Shanti moving to California from Colorado. She was the big dog at all the parks in Boulder then moved to Cali with real tuff farm dogs who made her fearful and small. After living here for a year she is now so comfortable at the park. Now I can proudly say she is back in her big little dog body. Every dog she has encountered has been somewhat gentle with her and respectful when she's told them to back off. The people are what really make it great. It's a great community, where nobody knows your name but they're always glad you came...with your dog.

I have seen this places for dogs to enjoy and I have two small dogs at home so.eday I will bring my dog over to play with others dogs but my dog will be scared or happy to meet others

Seems like a nice Dog Park . To busy for me . A dog there growled at my dog through the fence .So I left .

My dog is extremely comfortable with dog park play but too many people bring fearful dogs here and then socialize instead of watching/controlling their dogs. My dog has been bitten multiple times at this park, the only one we've ever had any issues at one...and we have hit dog parks all across the southwest. Only time I take him here is if no more than one dog is there, which is sad for him. It can get super crowded in the afternoons.

Separate areas for big and small dogs and a water source in both. Benches in both areas for 2 legged companions and and wind screened bench in the big dog area. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is there is no shade at all but with Temps in the 60s I guess it's not as big a deal as it would be in the valley.
