The Mendocino Sports Club is the best in town. It is a good place workout on the weights and cardio machines. The sauna is awesome, there is also a hot tub. It is nice that they do not have a heavy police presence, that helps people to feel safe and relaxed. The Mendocino Sports Club provides a healthy place to socialize and meet new people. Highly recommend.
Place is not well maintained. Constant leaks during the rain season. They also closed down the pool and tennis courts. The bright side is it does have a lot of work out equipment
Amazing people that work here. Awesome workout spaces with great locker rooms and relaxing amenities. Love this place!! 10/10 recommend.
The owner of this place is wildly inexperienced and unprofessional. Fix the pool, and hire help.
Good variety of equipment, only downsides were that there was no music playing even just as background noise to help tune out the grunting and weights clanging from gym goers. The other issue I had was when asked staff for a water fountain they stated that there wasn’t one and they sold water.
Overpriced. Hours are terrible. Hours do not reflect any kind of gym I’ve ever seen. Men’s shower stalls resemble a high school locker room. I have tried to talk to management about it and they seem completely on interested on extending hours for people that work a 9-5 or 10-6 on the weekends.
Over priced for the limited hours and facilities. Management is not concerned about accommodating the working class citizens. Gym towels, Included in the locker fee, feel like work rags and smell like chlorine. The staff at the front desk is poorly trained and are absolutely useless for any account questions or changes.
I really love this place, only complaint is broken down equipment/facilities and no spin class.
Lots of free weights, good machine mix, laid back, friendly staff.
I remember the old health club and was a member for years. The Sports Club is vastly better. Clean and very good and helpful employees! Machines are kept up!
