Clean, well organized grocery store for all your food needs, kitchen utensils, barbecue and deli needs. Fair prices, well-staffed and good variety and options of merchandise amd produce.
This commissary is excellent, very clean, well stocked, spacious, and with a good variety of food, and has a large parking lot. It was quiet when I visited at mid-day. I did not see anything out of stock. Everything was very neat, clean, and organized as expected for a military base commissary. They have a great selection of meats, vegetables, fruits, and frozen foods, as well as lots of hygiene, household, and personal care products. No safety or security concerns, and fellow customers know how to behave and to conduct themselves civilly, decently, and respectfully, and so do the employees. The only thing I observed that could be improved was the self-check out area, which was somewhat congested and rather small for the very large size of this commissary. Customers can bypass the congestion by just going to a normal cashier, nearly all of which were available and open when I visited which reflected that the military customers are the kind of people who like to get things done on their own without involving other people if they can, which is an appreciated and admirable quality. All in all, this commissary was and is excellent when I visited, so I gave it 5 stars in this review.

As far as commissaries go, it's alright. Absolutely no sales. I found chips and sodas more expensive here than off-post outlets. Also, never crowded, which is a bonus.

It had been a while since I last shopped at the commissary. It has really been updated nicely. It's light and airey, and hints at being a high end market. The one issue I have with all commissaries is why are so many products cheaper at other markets Farm Fresh, Food Lion, etc.... If you ask them they claim that they can not compete with "Lost Leaders..." But let's be honest, when a product is always priced at a certain price and they do not advertise that low price, then it's not a lost leader, it's just priced better. Go figure why the commissary can not get as good a.low price...

Yes It is the place to shop except....many times the fruit is off...Now I shop here 2-3 times a month. Just wish the quality and variety of the fruit was better. That's the only reason there a 4 star facility. With that being said I highly recommend because pricing is outstanding. ½
