This location is beautiful! The windows look out towards the trails that are currently being constructed. There is a massive Hands-on area with STEM activities and a 3D printer. My kiddo likes to play with the robots and program them to do sequences. There is a great selection of books as well. You also have access to the digital library through the ap when you enter your library card number. Such an abundance of resources available to our family, I am extremely grateful!
I wanted to like this library so badly as it’s 5 min from home & would be a good way to entertain my toddler for an hour on a hot day, but she gets bored within 5 min here bc there’s nothing for kids. Not even a table with puzzles or paper with crayons. Their Saturday storytime is borrriinnngg, too. Today’s visit, & probably my last, I was kinda turned off as soon as I entered the door bc no one greets you or even says hello back or maybe I just didn’t hear them cause all the staff were wearing masks… in 2023. But as soon as my curious 2yo wandered into the computer lab/stem room & found a bin of legos that she touched for a total of maybe 8 seconds lol, the bald headed man marched in there & started watching us, making me feel as if I’d let my toddler freaking steal something?! I even said oh sorry she’s just a curious toddler, we’re just wandering. He didn’t say a word & continued to be rude & correct anything she touched. Just wanted to put my experience out here before I submit my formal complaint. I’ll stick to saginaw library// so much more kid friendly & the staff is always super friendly as well. Two stars for cleanliness & organization.
I appreciated seeing this display for trans visibility while at the library. Thank you for providing a safe, accepting place for everyone. Edit: Also excited to see the 2023 pride display
Update; this is more for children than adults... The staff is really nice and they have a lot of good options for kids. Actives and books. It's nice and clean... Only 4 stars because the Black/African American section is super small...
Beautifully kept and well run branch of the Fort Worth Public Library. I was assisted after only a brief wait on another patron. The staff was super friendly not a big surprise, we're in Texas and even more helpful. With photo ID & proof of residence I had my new library card in a couple minutes. The well weeded and stocked collection of books offered several selections for my interests. The automated check-out was easier & cleaner than a grocery self-check. I'm looking forward to using the automated check-in as well... I saw one outside the entrance as well as inside the entry. Enjoy, now back to my .
I love this library! They offer a place to borrow and read books. They have 3D printing and offer a wide selection of community activities for children through adults. I enjoy the ability to look up and request almost any book. They get it shipped from other libraries for me.
072121: This is my library! Staff is knowledgeable and attentive enough. There is enough equipment and, of course, plenty of books. It can get pretty loud sometimes, but most of the time you can study and even hear yourself concentrate. It's nice, especially now that pandemic regulations have been relaxed. They still have the products needed to sanitize with.
This place is amazing. It is a small library but has lots to do, particularly for younger children. The staff are incredibly helpful. It has a lab where children can use a 3D printer, or make use of different crafts to create different objects. While there is a smaller selection of materials than a larger library would possess the staffs availability to answer any questions and come alongside you to find what you need easily makes up for it. As a neighbour of the library I will be visiting often.
I love story time on Tuesdays!
We went to get my 5yo and I library cards and thought we'd stay to play for a bit but there is no kids area! Sure they have children's books but no puzzles, games, computers, anything for kids to play with. Pretty disappointed and won't be coming back unless it's to pick up holds.
