Purchased the Fossil Sport Smartwatch from the Fossil store at Universal Studios. I called ahead and Jennifer was kind of enough to set one aside for me. Went and picked up my watch no fuss easy peasey. Fossil always welcoming the prior visits of me asking questions great service.
Just picked up my watch from Majestic Time Piece in Larchmont after Fossil told me the “parts weren’t available” to fix my watch, but I could “get a new one for 50% off.” Majestic told me the damage to the movement of my watch was done either deliberately or through incompetence. Love the watch but Fossil will never see another dime. Shady business.
I had bought smart watches from fossil for me and my wife on line. I had bought and used fossil watch many times before. gen 4 & gen 5 , I use it to track my heart rate, steps, all that stuff on the fit app from google. I really like the operating system it is very user friendly. gen 5 more than gen 4. I got attached to the watch quickly and my wife used hers every day. shortly after, about three weeks I started to have issues with my watch. The Garrett. But I had got attached to the ease of use of the watch quickly it good looking also I contacted Fossil and was told that I could send it in or if I wanted to bring it by one of their stores it might be faster to resolve the issues. Well, the closes store to me was 30 miles away at universal city walk. long ride but better than sending it in and having to wait months possibly. I arrived at the store and was talking to a sales person and was overheard by the manager I think the store manager Jenny Robles. she approached and we talked about how much I like the watch and the issue. I had printed out my history from their website and she could see I had bought several watches before. Never having any problems with them. She was professional nice, and easy to talk to. She saw my problem and within minutes she produced another new watch for me. easy! Probably the best customer service I have experienced. I know sounds crazy, but true. I am not sure what the problems that the manufacturer was having but the same problem happened two more times with the same watch. I called and asked for Jenny, she told me bring it in. She corrected the problem and now I have had the same watch for a few months now without any problems. It is the only store of any kind, that I have this kind of customer service. Outstanding product and outstanding employees. I would like to mention Troy from the same store. I had to exchange a watch for my wife and found out Jenny was not working that day until I got there. Troy produced the same professional altitude and kindness.
Yestarday I bought three watches and small wallet... I backed today to size my husband watch and the welcoming that I got from Codie "the manager" was very disappointed. He was asking me very rude why he didn't size the watch if he was at the store yesterday.... I bought it for a present What kind of manager does something like that???? Afert he was ride with mi kids, my niece, and with my husband who was looking for a different watch.....What a POOR SERVICE, lack of professionalism,, he has NO IDEA OF HOW TO BE A MANAGER. no matter how bad how bad has being yoi day, if you are the manager you have to do all what is in yoir hands to be nice and good with yoir customers. I have to say that we never were a nasty customer , rude or so, until the endafter he was rude with my entire family.....hope people form Fossil really read this review and do something about, because for people like Codie the business lose their customers.
I am rating this store 1 star not for the watch but the service. I walked in with my family planning on buying a watch for myself, only to be judged by an employee who said "I know you guys won't buy anything but let me show you what's on sale". Who says that to a customer?!
Picked up a great watch! Best service Stoy not only helped me pick out a fabulous watch he was personable and so helpful!!! I'm on a road trip he gave me a helpful tip to try Brenda's in San Francisco ! I'm now enjoying my watch and excited to try Brenda's!
I wanted to get a new smartwatch to work with my Google Pixel phone, and was shopping online for the Fossil watches. Online was a little difficult because there's nothing like seeing the watch in person. Definitely, you can't hear or feel the watch online. I decided to check to the Fossil Store in CityWalk at Universal City and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and knowledgeable staff, They answered all of my questions and helped with smart suggestions to get the best fit for my needs. I also found a wallet that they we able to personalize on the spot. The prices were the same as the online prices, without the shipping cost and wait. They fit the band to my wrist and sent me on my way with a new smartwatch in 15 minutes. Take that 2 day shipping.... The store was clean with COVID protocols in place that were easy to live with. 5 stars well deserved.
Super friendly staff, great sale items. When in to replace a battery. The lady said get a nail polish for the same price and the battery is free. Cody is awesome. I just come to this store cause they are awesome with customers.
I have so many Fossil watches, it’s ridiculous. Great timepieces. Well built, beautiful designs, awesome customer service, never disappointed with my purchases.
I’ve been a Fossil fan for about 10 years. I own a couple of watches. While visiting Universal Studios I stopped by this location on Universal City Walk to get a new battery in one of my watches and a clerk by the name of Karema was so nice when she serviced my watch! Excellent customer service and a great personality! Thank you Karema!
