Foundations Wellness Center is the premier substance abuse treatment program in Port St. Lucie, FL. We offer PHP, IOP, Trauma Resolution, and Faith Based services.

Description

We are a small, personalized treatment center that focuses on each unique case that comes our way. Each person that comes through our program is an individual and we ensure that they are treated like one. There is no one size fits all when it comes to a program of recovery and our staff understands that through collaboration we have to find what works for each person.

this place saved my life when i attended there treatment program, the program really helped me learn about self when i had really no idea who i was or why i did the things i did until i attended groups & really got honest with self. the facilitators are great & very understanding the therapist actually care about your health & well being, they also want the best for you while you’re there & after when you move onto the next chapter of your life. 10/10 recommend for anyone struggling with addiction
I am currently attending Foundations Wellness and it is amazing!!! I love the groups we attend, the therapists especially mine Jessi are AMAZING.. the techs are AMAZING as well, ESPECIALLY Kristen , Steve and Mike . I just love everything about this facility, the clinical director as well Ms. Beth and of course Nikki, Vicky, Sean, & Kevin & Kevin... My house manager Laura , LAUREN who runs all of the houses and even Jay and TJ our men house managers, And omg the massages & adjustments!!!! Do yourself a favor and come here, you won't regret it!
I have been to numerous detoxification centers and rehabilitation centers, halfway houses, jails, homeless shelters, and living on the streets.I've struggled with alcoholism and drug addiction for 20yrs. It wasn't until I came to Foundations and was helped to understand that I've been the common denominator in all my problems. I finally saw that blaming other people , places and things was getting me nowhere in life and just fueling the flames of my addiction. I'm a Army veteran of ten years and surrender was not in my vocabulary. Through Foundations clinical team and group therapy, I came to understand that admitting powerlessness was the first step to my recovery. I was given the tools and resources here at Foundations to forged my path to sobriety. I am grateful to say that November 29, 2022 will be 2yrs clean and sober. I have a beautiful and meaningful way of life today and it all started at Foundations. I am grateful to ALL the staff that have help me on my journey. God bless you all.
Foundations is a solid program with solid staff in an outpatient setting to help give you experiences with real life situations and challenges while in Php/iop. Unfortunately I have had to come to foundations more than one time and I have never been treated any differently than the first time and for that I am grateful to foundations.
My stepson was at this facility after transferring from Amethyst. The staff were very responsive, and cooperative with my stepson's special needs. From every conversation, and every action I felt that they cared about the people who were there. The few times that I had concerns, the concerns were addressed immediately. Jordyn, especially, was very helpful, and caring. I feel my stepson's experience there has set him on the right path to take control of his addiction.
Wonderful clinic combining support from therapist, housing , and alum who finished the program. The alumni meeting Wednesday's is a constant reminder of the facilities perseverance to help the people trying to help them selves. If you put in the work for yourself they will work to the best of there abilities to see you succeed to the other side.
There are many rehabilitation facilities available to anyone who is seeking recovery. Foundations Wellness Center is dedicated to all, the recovering addict as well as the recovering alcoholic. Every staff member deals with every individual with care, hope and support. I was extremely skeptical about going to a rehab facility, but at Foundations I was immediately made a family member and they taught me not only about my addiction, but to like myself, which was an important factor in my recovery. My journey continues today with the teachings of KJ Demich, the awesome words of support and insight from Elizabeth MacKensie, the group therapy of Steve Miller and the constant interactions with Mike and Joe. They all make it a point to know you, know your name and make sure that your journey is worth your effort every day. Thank you Foundations, you guys truly saved me.
Foundations not only saved my life, they have changed my life forever. As someone who has been to multiple treatment centers, I can honestly say this is by far the most effective, genuine and authentic treatment center there is. All and all, the whole place is like a big family that cares very deeply for each other with staff that is second to none. Each and every staff member here takes the time to get to know you and talk to you and actually listen to what you’re saying. Unlike other places, they actually remember their clients and they remember the conversations they hold with their clients because the don’t just look at them like clients. They look at everyone as a new member to their family. Each and everyone at Foundations will literally bend over backwards for anyone struggling with addiction. One last thing that really stood out to me was the owners, the owners of the facility aren’t just there for a dollar, they’re there because they genuinely care and want the best for each and everyone who walks through their door. Unlike other places I’ve been, I actually have met the owners and got to know them. They are extremely involved in the whole facility day in and day out. Not to mention they are always checking in on everyone on a daily basis, the fact that the owners know my name, where I work and check in on me regularly means a lot to someone like me. It shows that they are actually interested in my well being and actually care how I am doing inside and outside their program. I highly recommend Foundations to anyone who is struggling with addiction as they have forever changed my life and I could not be happier. When I walked through their door I was beaten up and broken down. Today I have the gift of sobriety, my family’s love, and a full time job. Life is better than it’s ever been in the last 10 years and it’s all thanks to Foundations for helping me discover who I truly am without drugs/alcohol and helping me discover this new way of life!
I attended Foundations Wellness for IOP. It was my first rehab experience ever. I was definitely not disappointed. A special shout out to my therapist Steve Miller. He went above and beyond to make sure i was comfortable and got the most out of the program i was able to in the short amount of time i was there! Since me leaving in March, many staff members have reached out to check on me and i really appreciate that. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place you feel welcome and a second chance at life.
As someone who has unfortunately been to numerous treatment centers around the country, I can honestly say Foundations Wellness has helped saved my life. The entire staff goes above and beyond for each and every client and they take each person's history and co-occuring issues into consideration so you never feel like you're just a number. One of the staff members, Joe Mahan, actually drove over an hour to pick me up from detox and bring me down to the center and made sure I feel comfortable and acclimated. I am so grateful for this place and everyone in it.
