Was passing by and saw Foundry42 was close to the exit and perfect for a quick stop. I was hoping for a cappuccino so I stopped by to discover a very beautifully decorated coffee / gift shop with an awesome selection of gifts I personally would love. On top of this they have a lot of novel drinks such as mushroom alternatives to traditional caffeinated drinks. I got a "Love Potion" and added an espresso shot. I can tell they make good caps as the temp was warm but perfect for drinking. The froth was great for even regular milk let alone the oatmilk that was used instead. If you visit definitely try the Love Potion as it has such a forward and broad flavor thanks to the added spices. Despite adding an espresso shot the blend complimented the taste of the coffee very well. I do not live nearby Foundry42, however I would go out of my way to stop here each time I pass by.
Everything about this place is pure goodness! Food, drinks, great stuff, vintage antique heaven!!! No female I know would ever regret going to the foundry, and it's an amazing place to study, read, or work. The owner is incredible...Food: 5/5
Adorable shop. Smelled like rosemary and baked goods. The coffee is great. The owner and workers work hard but still are very friendly to each customer. Fun drinks on the menu but I stuck to iced coffee which was very strong, just how I like it. Really nice baked goods. Some classics and some fun takes. I got the rosemary croissant which was incredible. Went twice actually and got the chicken salad on the rosemary croissant the second time which was really delicious. Well-balanced, not mayo heavy. Really nice dressing on the side salad too. The shop itself feels more like a gift shop than a coffee shop but the things they are selling are fun to peruse with lots of items coming from local sellers. Top notch place.
This is the perfect spot to grab something to nibble on and espresso drink. I really enjoyed the s'mores latte, it was the perfect balance of sweet and bitter and the rosemary croissant is dynamite. There are also so many cute gifts that make an excellent stocking stuffer or treat for yourself.Food: 5/5
This is the best coffee shop I have ever been to. Words cannot express how beautiful this place is and how wonderful the pastries are. I spent a good chunk of a day here and enjoyed my salted caramel latte, pain au chocolat, rosemary croissant chicken salad, and brownie a la mode. Highly recommend!!
Such a cute cafe and store. It’s always so unexpected in the middle of Port Jervis but so quaint. It’s got hot and cold coffees and teas, pastries, sandwiches, and I love their gift sections. Well curated and unique finds! Everything from pantry items to cheese, outdoors stuff, and more. They also have storytime for kids, musicians, workshops and classes. Charming little spot!
This is a great coffee and pastry shop with a friendly staff and enchanting decor. I'm tempted to work out of this place all day, based on how good it looks inside. The drinks are fantastic as well, and the staff was great at making a recommendation to me this morning I went with the love potion, iced, which is a major departure from my normal black cold brew. I regret nothing. If you're passing through the area, I'd recommend making a pit stop here. There's also a nice supply of fun products that you can buy inside, as well as some good looking ivy plants hanging near the windows.
Ah! I freaking love this place. It’s a little slice of NYC up in the boondocks and gives me so much hope for upstate New York! Such a chic store with fantastic baked goods, almost comparable to breads bakery in Manhattan. Hmmm :… loved everything about this bakery but what I fell in love with and totally made me emotional was the numbers on the steps. Stairs counting is a tick that I only thought I had lol. Love it! Also, they had fresh flowers upstairs, made it smell amazing! Parking: Perfect, right outside, lots of parking available.
First time!! A place I have been looking for, especially on the days I want to sit on my laptop and work on my books, take a class. Coffee and tea at my reach hot, cold, or frothy. There is a food and pastries menu, check it out some of the photos online. Enjoyed my visit so much. I lost track of time. I'll definitely be back.Food: 4/5
