Fountain Cafe

Enjoyed one of the Fountain's final dinner services. Outstanding service, very private and spacious dining room and perfectly prepared food. We chose the tasting menu which was perfect not too much food and a nice variety. Sorry to see the restaurant close. Looking forward to seeing what the Four Seasons has to offer for dining in the new hotel.

Came for business breakfast. Great fresh squeezed OJ. The Toad in a Hole is a unique twist with smoked salmon thinly sliced, poached eggs in the middle of brioche with hollandaise. Rich and delicious. Service is chipper and prompt. Fresh fruits and high quality meats. Pricey for breakfast but excellent.

We went there for Sunday brunch and Friday dinner. The service was super-friendly and very attentive. Our little daughter was treated in a super sweet way she got her own little appetizer, a balloon, crayons. The brunch was great and very good value for money. The dinner is more expensive but the Kaffir lime black grouper fillet and grilled beef filet with Miso glazed short Ribs were absolutely delicious. The decor is conservative and relatively dark but the combination of food and service make it really worthwhile going.

lavish, luxurious and worth every penny. this fine dining haven understands the details of making a meal great. from the expertly prepared food to the impeccable service that seems to always be there when needed but never in your way, the fountain sets the bar for restaurants not just in philadelphia but across the country.

Sunday Brunch with friends is terrific. Great atmosphere. Great service and food. Plenty of room between tables so although there is energy in the room, you can actually talk with each other.

Everyone should eat here once before they die. It's a prelude to heaven. The pre fixe is not mentioned on the website or Zagat menus, but it is often offered at lunch. Go ahead and splurge, everything is succulent, creative, and fresh. Incredible service

this restaurant is expensive but worth every penny. the wine list is fantastic and the food was magnificent. i could not wait for the next course to arrive. the service was elegant and the staff was professional. this is my favorite philadelphia restaurant!
