This is such a nice place to visit. We love to walk over from the splash pad for a sweet treat and a break from the heat. It's usually pretty busy and rightfully so. The staff is wonderful and friendly. If you have time I'd suggest starting in the museum next door and then ending in the cafe. I enjoyed The Smiley sparkler this past week. It was incredibly refreshing and delicious. Parking: You'd be lucky to find parking on the square. There are however parking garages around and it's a short walk. Kid-friendliness: There's plenty of ice cream for the kiddos to enjoy. Wheelchair accessibility: There appears to be a wheelchair entrance even though the door is labeled exit only.
Going here and then to the splash pad or Dave Peel is a can't-miss combination. The ice cream is good and the environment is even better. Some of the sundaes and floats were absolutely huge and there were plenty of toppings to add on. Lots of fun!
This is such a fun place! Located just as you exit the Walmart Museum, it can be accessed from the street via it’s own door up about 3 steps. I didn’t see a ramp, wheelchair accessible entrance, from this way in. Perhaps management could give a followup reply to address accessibility. Once inside there are several booths and tables. You can get great hotdog for only $2.00. Everything is inexpensive in this recreation of a 1950s diner. They also have nachos, Yarnell ice cream, shakes, malts, big pretzels and more!
The end of the free Walmart museum next door dumps you out into this soda fountain. They have extremely cheap ice cream prices. You can even get a baby cone for something ridiculous like 50¢. Unfortunately because I have Celiac and they use the same scoop that's been sitting in ice cream water as a rinse, they're all cross contaminated and not safe for Celiacs to consume. Unfortunately the $3.25 iced coffee that I had on this past Monday was so bad I finished a third of it and had to throw it away. It was incredibly bitter. Skip the drinks and if possible, only get ice cream. *I tested positive for Covid two days after my visit so employees who worked on 5/16/2022 should get tested.
Pretty good ice cream. Lobe the sea sale Caramel flavor. Kids love the sparks ice cream. Their waffle cones are tasty. Root beer float was okay tasted a little off.
Great prices for great ice cream!! We had double brownie sundaes. The line will likely be out the door but it moves fast so don't let it deter you!
A must visit place in bentonville. You can get a tiny ice cream cone for 50cents!!! Good customer service. Decent seating area
YUM!! What a spot to have my first banana split! This ice cream was also wildly tasty and the prices were absurdly affordable. The fact that the free Walmart exits into this museum makes it wildly convenient for a bit of history and then some sweets. Loved it!
Refreshing soda drinks called sparklers on their menu and the shakes are pretty average. Do not get the pretzel unless you like chewing for days. Great place for after some local biking.
Good ice cream Yarnell’s at amazingly low prices make this a must for any family visiting the Bentonville Square. They have about a dozen flavors for cones, sundaes and shakes. The young people working the counter are usually upbeat and friendly and the vintage soda shop vibe is cool. It can get crowded if a large group comes through the Walmart Museum but the line moves fairly quick.
