I stopped in for lunch during the week. The service was quick and the waitress was friendly. The portions were large and the food was excellent. I had the chicken burrito, chili relleno, and tostada special. It was covered with lots of cheese and sauce. I will go back again. The chips were warm and the salsa had the right amount of hot pepper .
Excellent food, I wish I had pictures of my actual meal, but we started eating before I remembered. I ordered the Chile Colorado. It was delicious and the portion size was huge. The service was great also. Chips and salsa were great and the queso fundido was delicious. My husband ordered menudo and loved it. They had a large selection of choices for kids also. Something for everyone.
I have been eating here for years when I get my dog groomed at A Paw Spa next door. Food is consistently decent. Service is always excellent. I really enjoy the flavor of their refried beans. They are some of the best I have ever eaten.
1st off, I will say that the food is 5 stars and has always been amazing, and I've been coming here for years because of the food. But in the last 2 years the service here has been horrible. I even took a 6 month break from this place and came back today only to be charged $2.25 for chips and salsa, when it clearly says on their menu that the 1st basket is free. They had new weightstaff there this time that was very friendly and all, but their excuse was that they charge for chips and salsa before 11 AM, and I placed my order at 10:35 AM. In all the years that I've been coming here between 10 AM and 10:30 AM on Sundays, I have NEVER been charged for chips and salsa when requesting it before 11. Also, an important note is that there is nowhere on the menu that says there is such a charge before 11 AM. It only states that the 1st basket is free and that additional refills are extra charge and says NOTHING about a pre-11 AM charge. So they're just making up costs as they go to price gouge and rip people off. When paying my bill, I complained to the owner about being charged for this for the 1st time and told him it was ridiculous. He just shrugged his shoulders and said "well you know it's just one of those things." No apology or anything didn't even have a rational explanation about it. Makes absolutely no sense other than to price gouge and take people for every penny they can. The food is just too good and it's just unfortunate because I'd like to come here more often for the great food, but the manager is always a jerk and his new policy about changing extra money for stuff that is supposed to be free is ridiculous and makes me not wanna come back.
We have been going to this restaurant for over 12 years, It used to be a great restaurant. I'm not sure why it has gone down hill. My daughter who is Vegetarianordered cheese enchiladas. They came out with shredded beef. We asked for new ones to be remade and they did it but were not "happy" about it. The second plate came out and the enchiladas had ground beef in them. The waitress said she would get the manager and it took him 20 minutes to even come over and when he did he said do you want me to remake it? And she said yes and he got mad and completely walked away. When we were paying our bill to leave I quietly talked with him and told him that I have been coming and supporting his business for over 12 years and said I was disappointed with his reaction to us. And he said Yes ma'am, you're right ma'am okay ma'am and was very demeaning to us. The service has gotten so bad. And after he treated us this way I think it's time to support another restaurant! Very disappointed.
Our server was kind and attentive but the food was disappointing. I ordered the combination soft Chile relleno plate and it was awful. It's more like an omelet with canned diced green Chiles + cheese. I couldn't even eat it.... Chips&salsa: 9/10 Soft "Chile relleno": 1/10 Rice: 2/10 Beans: 5/10 Horchata: 3/10
I don't like to give negative feedback, that being said I believe in an honest review. The food was very disappointing. The breakfast chile relleno plate was not good at all. The cheese had a flavor like it was expired. The Chile relleno was hard and did not have a pleasant flavor. The burrito and the sauce were not edible, it was like ketchup with less flavor. The only part that was good was the chips and salsa. It is sad to be so displeased with this place as the staff seemed friendly. Would not recommend, will not be returning.
An old favorite. We used to live nearby and ate here several times a month. The food is good, prices are not too bad, and it is clean and comfortable. Try the breakfast burrito any time of day.Food: 4/5
Good Mexican food. Green chile is good, not the best I've ever had but certainly tasty. The chips were phenomenal, drinks were good, though service was 10/10.Food: 4/5
The plates were hot and the part of food like the fries on top of my Mexican Hamburger was cold. Service was excellent however the waitress was working a lot of tables by herself. Will not go back for this dining experience.Food: 3/5
