My father died Holy Thursday. We knew it was going to be difficult making arrangements to have his service and burial before Easter Sunday. I called Thaddeus and he manage every detail in a professional and timely manner. I can’t thank him enough for helping us through this emotional process.
Steve was great and a good balance of caring, transparent but practical. Environment was pleasant and appropriate. The reason for the rating is the poor quality video stream of funeral. Complaints from many disappointed international mourners who stayed up to watch the service. After COVID, a good video stream should be standard at funerals. My deceased family member has family/friends around the country & world like many New Yorkers. The handheld camera used was unsteady and sound quality was poor. This was not a good look for Fox funerals. Or New York / USA. Hope this aspect will improve.
During our hardest time they treated us like family. They did everything with dignity and a caring touch. I will forever be thankful for their services and their listening ear. These people are the real deal.
I called to access a plot location at 11pm while website says 24 hrs accessible. The man mocked me saying" and you think I could give you that at 11pm.." that is a bit unethical, immoral and unprofessional for a funeral home. Shame. I lost the best person in my life and was hung up on after criticized. Immoral and un empathertic. All he had to say is " I don't have that info, but if you call in the morning someone can help. " that simple. Its called manors and disposition toward mourning loved ones. Why work here and treat the ones left behind this way?
We visited on a Sunday afternoon with an impossible timeline and Steve made it happen. He was caring, considerate and unflappable and took the stress of the planning process off our shoulders. We truly could not have gone through this difficult time without his guidance.
I rarely post reviews; however, I could not miss an opportunity to give credit where it is due. Fox Funeral Home provided my family and I with top tiered service for my father's homegoing. I was satisfied from the initial call until the committal ceremony at my father's final resting place. I didn't feel at one point my father's services were being managed as a business transaction. They communicated all arrangements with complete clarity and sensitivity. I felt completely at peace with them and highly recommend their services. Thank you for giving my father a beautiful homegoing. God bless you.
When my dad died unexpectedly, we were not prepared. I frantically started looking for a funeral home. At a time like this you don’t want to shop around but unfortunately that is what I found myself doing. The first 3 we went to , I felt like they were high pressure salesman trying to sell me something. When I went to Fox funeral home and met with Steve , I felt very comfortable and at ease. He made the whole process as seamless as possible, answered my many questions, always with a caring heart. Every staff member at Fox funeral home was wonderful. Thank you.
Unbelievably horrible employees. Our family was physically attacked by an employee who didn't want us to park in front of the Funeral Home even though we had a disabled placard in the window. He smashed our car window. Don't ever go there.
Thad and his staff are very caring and considerate. If you dind yourself in need of these service's look no further! Can't say enough!
