Septa employees very disgruntled in my experience. But otherwise no complaints
On a positive note, the office clerks have been pleasant, even despite their surroundings. I've only ever gone there a handful of times in order to purchase a CCT trail pass and my husband INSISTS upon escorting me inside. The area smells of urine. There is no actual benches, just a half post to lean on not that you'd want to and the trash cans are overflowing. This is not a place one chooses to go to.
Just saw a video of your transit police beating and tasing a black woman because she was 50 cents short on her bus fare. How sad! I would never use your transit I am sure you don’t care as your distain for the public taxpayers is apparent
What a trash can of a place. It reeks of urine in the morning, there are homeless stinky bums and drug users lounging on benches at all times, there is no spot in sight that does not have spit on it, green chunks of phlegm. Absolutely disgusting. Toilets are always either clogged with and toilet paper or are closed for no reason or cleaning. Cleaning means that SEPTA just doesn't want people to use them because during "cleaning", restrooms have no cleaning staff in them. On occasions the restrooms are open, and you find a stall without human waste in it, there will be no toilet paper. There will also be no paper towels for drying your hands. The upside is SEPTA staff who are kind and courteous. I ride the Blue Line every day, and every day I gag as I walk through the areas leading to the building itself. This place requires a hazmat suit to walk through it.
Nasty, nasty, nasty. Homeless ppl everywhere. Boys everywhere wanting to sell you something. Can't get through the door to go inside without them all in the way. Don't feel safe or comfortable walking inside or outside the place. Some of the workers are nice. Others have bad attitudes.
SEPTA needs to do a better job with maintenance and cleanliness of the Frankford Station. It has been about 8 years since I have had to take a bus. FILTHY!!!!! You are so quick to go on strike when you are demanding an increase , but how about providing better service to the public!!!!! You are so quick to inconvenience the commuters when you so conveniently do this. The commuters should boycott riding SEPTA for a whole month. But that will never happen because you are the ONLY means of public transportation in this city. Shame on you SEPTA!!!!! I cant wait for my car to come out the shop. Better yet, getting a rental is looking like a better and safer choice, at this time.
To many homeless people harrasing you for cigs or yrying to sell you loose cigs .to many unruly students . you cant even sit at a bench because its full of people who arent even getting on a bus. It could be better. It should be better.
It gets you to your destinations coming from northeast philly, thru north philly, thru center city, all the way to west philly/ upper Darby. Mostly on time. Buses are ok. Workers are ok, there pretty informative with directions, could smile more. Biggest setback would be the upkeep but you have to attribute that to the area that it's in i.e homeless, drug addicts, drug dealers. Septa tries to clean up but you can only do but so much. It is a public area.
Dirty, lots of supposed to be " Police / or Transit Police ", but especially at night, the weirdos come out all drunk and F'd up, well on 7/6/17, a fight between a 60 year old drunk man and 3 Teenager's were fighting by many pedestrian's, the man almost choked the kid to death while getting lumped up! Where were the cops! Well 20 minutes late they show up, lol. Not a good place.
Great staff. On the ball. Helpful with directions and general info. Bathrooms are terrible and are closed too long while being cleaned. They need bathroom attendants at all times.
