Yummy cupcakes are priority #1. My goal is to create a food experience that brings pleasure and happiness in a little paper cup!
The Story.....Frankie's began when a friend mentioned she wanted to sell cupcakes in her local shop. I offered to bake some and off it went!
But my love for cake is a family thing. As a 6 year old, I remember standing in front of our open refrigerator on a hot summer day in 1969. It was my birthday. What had my attention was a perfectly pink, perfectly frosted cherry chip cake. My Mother (Frankie) made it for me by request. It did NOT disappoint! In addition to that memory is my Aunt Irene's mile-high coconut cake. She served it for our annual July 4th celebration and it was "to-die-for".
So, sitting down to a delicious piece of cake has marked our family gatherings for as long as I can remember. It's my hope to share this tradition with you through Frankie's Cupcakes at your next gathering.
