My son’s appointment was scheduled for 3/31/23 at 9 am. We arrived at 8:45 am to an office full of people waiting to be seen. At 11:45 I went to the receptionist to ask when will my son be seen and she said in an approximately another hour because they had several staff that did not come to work. I had another appointment at 1pm so I rescheduled for 4/5/23 @ 8am. We arrived at 7:40 am to an empty parking lot. At 8am my son’s scheduled appointment time the alarm was going off in the building. The first staff to arrive was at 8:04. She unlocked the door and turned off the alarm. The second staff arrived at 8:10am and did not speak. The fifth or sixth staff member arrived at 8:17am and said good morning to everyone. I was the first here but another lady managed to sign in first but not stressing about it. My child has to be seen today and I will never schedule another appointment at this location because lack of punctuality, lack of customer service skills and lack of staff. Let me start by saying that I wish that I was able to give this Dentist office no stars. I was given an appointment for my child and my husband took the day off, just to show up and be told we didn't have one. The Office Manger was extremely rude and got frustrated with me and sighed on the phone right in front of my daughter and I heard it on the phone. Don't trust these people with your children!!
My 8 and 9 year olds have been coming to Franklin dental since age of 2. We usually visit the candler rd office but last year we moved to forest park. The forest park location is next to my home so last December I switched locations. December and June have ALWAYS been my children’s appointments months. I went to the office Wednesday to see why I haven’t received any emails or text about their appointments because it was now the month of June. The office manager Inoami Lewis stated that the office was closed and their appointments were canceled and needed to be rescheduled. No one contacted me to let me know this information at all! She scheduled me an appointment for that Friday for 11. We made it to the front desk at 11:03 and was told that they could not see the dentist because at 11 there was no 15 minute grace period. I took off work to bring my children to the dentist!!! My first appointment got canceled without notification then we were denied service when the company has a 15min grace period! The office manager made the appointment and didn’t relay that important information. When I asked for corporate number she gave me the number to reschedule an appointment. I told her that I wanted corporate number and she stated she didn’t know it! WOW, this is the only dentist office chain that my children have seen, my 23 and 19 year old also received their dental work from Franklin. My daughter had her braces put on, cared for and taken off here also. I referred my mother in law here for my brother in law braces so the got that money too. I will be leaving a review on the BBB website and I will bad mouth this company EVERY CHANCE I GET. It’s really sad because I LOVED candler rd location but I will not give to company anymore of my money. BEWARE IF YOU ARE NOT HISPANIC THIS LOCATION WILL NOT TREAT YOU WITH RESPECT! THEY CATER TO SPANISH SPEAKERS! I will also be calling NAACP to look into this racial profiling this office does
I was so disappointed coming here today. V-E-R-Y. Staff, some were friendly. Unprofessional mainly attitudes were just rude. Had I gotten the one individual namewhom was a whole b**** I would have included it in my review... I'm a very humble parent and know what my child needs, but wrong is wrong. I originally made the appointment for an emergency fixing of a chipped tooth my daughter has. I specified what the appointment was for before I even confirmed. Nothing was relayed prior to what was needing to be done. I feel if you don't have patience working in this field with adolescents, or parents who use PTO or take off for our children's needs PLEASE find another career path. Period
The people up here who do the x-rays...are VERY ignorant. They are ignorant ash. They are rude ash. My 4 yr old was crying because she was scared to get her x-rays. The 1st lady did not comfort her. There were people saying they weren't going to do it. She's a 4 year old and scared, comfort her make her feel good. Also, my baby has been waiting to get her cavity treated for over a year now. Atp, do not come to Franklin Dental.
Why are the women here so ANGRY? Yall 304's act as if someone took your man or our kids belong to your baby daddy's or something..it makes NO sense how unhappy and RUDE yall are.. yall mad for WHAT??? Go get u sum dang! ESPECIALLY the supervisor & the Mexican lady at the front desk!
The scheduler person named Natalie was so unprofessional it didn’t make any sense. I called to set up an appointment for my kids she was making a lot of noise in the background. Then she had the ordacity to drink something out a straw that was about empty, making sucking noises. When she was suppose to looking for a date, She started clicking a pen, as I heard from the background noise. Then her ignorance gone tell me the only day they have available is July 20. I requested a later date she became rude and hang up. Follow-Up: Mirander the scheduler I spoke to when I called back did an amazing job hearing my complaints and resolving my issues. I really appreciate her professionalism and appropriate attitude. Thanks
Franklin Dental is the most unprofessional dental office I’ve ever known. They canceled my son’s appointment in July for not confirming, but I was NEVER sent a message to confirm. Then when I rescheduled for August, they text me 2 days before the appointment to say they were canceling the appointment for miss scheduling, even though I confirmed this time. When I called to inquire about appointment cancellation, they didn’t know why, but said they couldn’t give me another appointment until November. This has got to be the WORST dental office.
If I could give 0 stars I would. They unprofessional, inconvenient, don’t update parents and while we were waiting for our daughter they gave someone else’s child’s file to another parent! UNETHICAL IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT! NEEDED TO BE REPORTED THE THE BBB!!!!!
terrible !!!!!! place for kids they declined my 2 year old niece service right after they dosed her with meds before her surgery . All because we was nervous & asking important questions. This would have been her first surgery ever .
