This is a very nice and unique place to visit and observe independent art works that that you may not find anywhere else. Each exhibition had a theme which ties the different pieces together. All types of art is represented. It is good to get on their email list since they regularly host a wide variety of lectures and meetings. Recently I attended an excellent walking herbal lecture in Mill Park and afterwards the group made its own herbal tinctures. There is also as very nice cafe for coffee, tea and goodies. Nearby street parking is usually available.
Great coffeeshop and artspace. Good place to work on your laptop or get brunch. Excellent coffee thanks to a barista named Josh, also not sure who does the baking but all of the baked goods are fresh and delicious. This place has plenty of space too, with an art gallery inside as well. A bit off the beaten path, however, and quiet.
Franklin Street Works is the premier contemporary art gallery in Stamford. The gallery also features a cafe with loads of homemade pastries such as croissants, scones, muffins, and cookies. My favorite sandwich is the Turkey BLT, classic with a simple arugula salad. Coffee Is always fresh, the staff is great, and theres always interesting people around, in part due to UConn's campus being across the street. Definitely worth a visit!
Great coffee and nice food and baked goods. Staff is super friendly. And it's a great little art gallery too. And never crowded.
Great undiscovered little spot for coffee, tea or a light meal. Check their days and hours before you make the trip. Alas, the coffee shop is now closed.
Good food in an creative art space. Food is good, but portions arent very big. Nice place to read or catch up with friends.
Great food. Excellent customer service. The espresso drinks are amazing. Great little hidden gem in Stamford.
Excellent Turkey Chili and I had a artisan grill cheese with marcheg....something cheese. Both service and food . Excellent. Good for quiet lunch.
