The Fraternal Order of Police, Hill Country Lodge #23’s goal is to help Texas officers by striving to improve wages, benefits, and working conditions.
The Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) has a long tradition of serving the professional law enforcement officer. Founded in 1915 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the Fraternal Order of Police has evolved into over 2200 local lodges, proudly serving over 330,000 law enforcement officers.
On September 25, 1985, the FOP Texas State Lodge was founded with three lodges in West Texas. Today, the FOP represents Texas law enforcement officers from East Texas to West Texas, from the high plains of the Panhandle to the shores Gulf Coast . Officers from federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies are represented, and as we say in Texas, are "Proud to be FOP!"
