Store is clean, employees friendly, however the lines to check out are horrendous. I came here from Winco because I hate bagging my own groceries. I don’t know if they are still short staffed or what pandemic was over a long time ago but each time I come there are 2 lanes open and lines down the aisle. By the time you get to the front of the line the checker is so busy they expect you to bag your own groceries. I am thinking of going back to Winco because at least I would pay less for my groceries if I have to bag them myself.
We had a great experience in the cheese section today. This Fred Meyers doesn’t have a very large cheese variety compared to Portland, BUT we were blow away by the customer service. Ian was there to assist us and was very insightful. He was very friendly, customer service 10/10! Although the cheese section is smaller here, we’ll still recommend this Fred Meyers for the customer service.

I wanted to stop in for some lunch and decided to use the restroom. Unfortunately I’ve been in honey pots that were cleaner. When I asked the customer service lady if there were other restrooms she looked at me as if I were speaking another language. When I told her the bathroom was filthy she answered with an attitude saying “ok, and?” What every happened to customer service? I would think a grocery store would want to provide a clean restroom for their clients and certainly would have expected far less attitude when i simply let someone know.
Unfortunately, Fred Meyer frequently does not have enough checkout lanes open, and as a result, it's not unusual to find very long checkout lines. In my opinion, this shows they have no respect for their customers.
Great service by Jazmine and Lise from customer service. I rented a carpet cleaner and they accidentally advised me not to need a hose. Jazmine was very apologetic and with Lise’s assistance they saved the day! Incidentally, Safeway is closer to my home and they rent the same vac at the same price but they didn’t have anyone to write me up because I needed it before 9am, thank you Freddie’s for taking care of your customers on “their” time!
Recommend safeway as fred meyer never has checkouts open. Only one lane and one of the self checkouts was open. Almost as bad as the gas station in the area.
Parking lot was good for a weekend day. The staff were polite. The products were moderately expensive and continue to go up in price frequently in the past two years.
This is for management. Door guy at night Greg “ you got less than 10 minutes” Crazy he is the person interacting with people as they come in the store. I’m aware you close at 11
What an experience, I usually shop at Safeway and this was my first time at FM as well my last. What a strange store, laid out so one must walk the whole store. Even more frustrating than Walmart unfortunately. My receipt, which I didn’t look at until after a 30 minute drive home had 5 items that were $2 more than the sticker price and I got charged for an extra 2 items I didn’t have lol. What a strange store, half clean cut and half zombie. All around dumpy experience, I won’t be returning.
