One of my favorite stores. The pricing can be a bit high on some things and very reasonable on others. If you are handy, want to try your hand at some DIY projects, need replacement pieces, obscure pieces, etc... this is the place to go. There is a large, ever changing selection of furniture, appliances, fixtures, and materials. I would recommend keeping a list of items you might need, things like filters, molding, trim, outlets and sizes of rooms, windows and doors. You never know what you might find.
The store is OK, but their hours are horrible for people who work weekdays, open at noon on Saturday and closed on Sundays, weekdays they close at 5. I work in DC and this makes it next to impossible to visit during the week. I would go there more often to look first before going to a box store but my window of opportunity is only on Saturdays, IF I've got nothing planned for the afternoon.
ReStore is a great way to shop for slightly used goods for your home, from furniture to hardware supplies. Staff is friendly and they have plenty to look at. Organization is somewhat chaotic but that's part of the fun trying to find the treasures you might need for a small home remodel or just different improvement projects. Plus it gives back to the community. I just wish they had more hours and enough staff to stay open.
Having been to some other Restores, this one could really use some improvements. Horribly organized. Rugs cannot be shopped. Prices seem much higher than others and their hours make it so hard to get there when you work a regular job.
I love to thrift. I was shocked at prices. I know you have over head, but you are getting everything free!! I do love the selection and your staff are very nice and kind. The guys who load have always been great! They puzzle piece things to fit very nicely If you want to find a bargain here You can wait and check to see if it’s marked down. Sometimes they have great sales I found an antique poster bed. It was more than I wanted to pay so I checked as time went by and it got down to $25 Great deal for antique with wooden wheels. I really do hate it when you go thrifting and they sell stuff for more than new. Hopefully they will get someone who knows better. Maybe check other sources before you put a price on things!!! Hoping to get s pick up but I’m concerned after reading peoples experiences. I had an Estate sell and still have so many beautiful items. I’m a designer. So don’t have junk. If I can’t consign it and don’t want to move it …hopefully they’ll do a pickup Quickly because my stuff is valuable . Looks like the manager is mostly commenting on positive reveiws You can’t do business if you don’t address problems in a kind manner without being defensive. Most generally an attitude of Goodwill Brings in more business Do you have a place to see what your doing in the community? It’s important to those of us who support causes to know where Our resources are going, I’m excited to come again. It’s very interesting there. A lot to see Hope you have figured out pricing etc. It’s been a while since I’ve been and I hope to have a great experience. ThankYou Oh and are they doing anything for homeless vets? Maybe there’s grants for that. Breaks my heart to see those who fight for us out on the street. We shouldn’t have a war machine that uses people and spits them out. Please let me know if they are helping them! ThankYou!
Super super disappointed in this resale store. I’ve been to quite a few, we love to refinish and resell furniture and this one by far was the most over priced. We also drove 40 minutes from Stafford with a truck load of items to donate and they were extremely extremely picky and only took one item. As someone who shops resell often and knows this market, I was extremely disappointed and dissatisfied.
Extemly overpriced, unfortunately in a last year this place it seems that they have forgotten that they get their items donated to them and got greedy. Some items listed in their store are priced more than a brand new item bought retail. So disappointing. When brought to staff's attention about recent pricing, they were quite quick to respond, it seems that they are use to people complaining about the prices and are not bothered by it.
I love this place!! They always have great stuff and some interesting finds. We shop there for most of our home improvement projects, but they also have other great finds!
Awesome place and great staff. They were efficient and professional. We turned in a small truckload of items and these were processed and accepted quickly and effectively. We have been there several times and they are always great.
I always find something useful here, and at great value!! I have shopped here regularly over the last 7 years and gave found the staff is always kind, courteous, helpful, friendly and professional. Love Restore. I also donate a ton of stuff here. I do always verify with Restore before driving all the way there, that they take a particular item if it is big, just to save myself any trouble. I love the fact that whether I buy or donate it's win-win-win, for me, Restore and those helped by Habitat for Humanity.
