A Free Store is a place where ALL people are welcome and ALL items are available completely FREE of charge. The Free Store of Kalamazoo will redistribute clothing and household goods donated by the community to the community for FREE.
We will be CLOSED July 4th, 11th, and 18th, 2017
OUR NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
OPEN FOR *DONATION DROP-OFFS*:
- Tuesdays 4:00p-7:30p
- Thursdays 4:00p-6:00p
OPEN FOR *VOLUNTEERING/COMMUNITY SERVICE* HOURS:
-Tuesdays 4:00p-8:30p
-Thursdays 4:00-6:00
*If you are a NEW volunteer, please contact and wait for a response from [email protected] before planning on helping out.
OPEN FOR *SHOPPING*:
-Tuesdays 6:00p-8:00p (DOORS CLOSE AT 7:30)
Please note the Free Store is CLOSED whenever Kalamazoo Public Schools are closed due to weather or a disaster situation.
WORSHIP SERVICE (All are invited, but worship is never an expected or required part of the Free Store experience!):
- Tuesdays 5:30p-6:00p
Volunteer with us! How?
- drop of donations of gently used clothing and household items
- volunteer to work at the Free Store
- volunteer to help sort and hang clothing items
- volunteer to make baked goods for our customers/members
- donate coffee or money to help keep us running
- provide childcare onsite for children of volunteers (childcare volunteers will be required to have a background check)
