The NuWay Thrift Store is an organization registered as a Non-Profit Corporation. The merchandise received in our store is all donated and, in return, the donor receives a tax deductible receipt for their donation. The organization owns and controls all the profits from the sale of these items, according to our by-laws, and is governed by a board of directors.
Our Mission is: “Helping Support Those Who Help Our Communities”. Over the years, sales of donated items have enabled us to give regular, monthly financial support to such ministries and service organizations as the Alternatives, Campus Crusade for Christ, Center for the Homeless, Pregnancy Care Center, Right to Life, Michigan Special Olympics, Open Door, Love Inc., Ministry with Community, Youth for Christ and many others.
