Dr. Jake and his staff are a great group of people! Dr. Jake is very thorough and ensures his staff and himself are doing what’s best for the patient! It is important to know what’s wrong with your spine and take care of the problem, not just temporarily mask it. Freedom Family Chiropractic is definitely the best chiropractic office that I have visited.
Dr Jake is incredibly professional. I’m still new to chiropractic care but my only other experience pales in comparison to Freedom Family. Everything Dr Jake did he explained carefully and was conscious to make sure I knew exactly what kind of care he was recommending and why. The at home care he recommended was amazing as well. It’s taking my recovery from severe, chronic back pain to a new level. Can’t say enough about this place.
I spent a number of years thinking I had an autoimmune disease due to all the symptoms. Finally ruled out MS and discovered a pituitary tumor. Thought we had the answer. Unfortunately, the bulk of my symptoms did not pertain to the tumor. I had balance issues, joint pain, horrible lower back and neck pain, headaches everyday, sometimes severe, problem swallowing food/meds and that’s just a short list! I finally found Dr. Jake with a recommendation from my daughter’s chiropractor in Nashville. I have almost no curve left in neck and lower back which was creating a bulk of my symptoms. I am not even half way thru my treatment and the headaches are mild, lower back and neck pain almost gone, no difficulty swelling food anymore, balance is much improved and the joint pain is gone except where I have arthritis!! I am beyond grateful to have found him! Please make an appointment with Dr. Jake, it will make a lifetime of difference. Every organ in our body is connected to the spine, if your spine is not in alignment, you may be experiencing a number of the same symptoms….there is help, you do not have to continue suffering!! Dr. Jake and his staff are so nice and supportive, the office is a very positive place to be
I experienced Great Caring atmosphere , great caring, serene time there Very kind, loving, compassionate Doctor and His Team! My body feels great after every adjustment! I praise God for all he do for me & others though this service!!!!!!!
Before becoming a pt here I was suffering from constant headaches with no explanation and recurring back/sciatic pain. I first came back in September and have never been without back pain this long. The headaches are almost nonexistent now. I’m truly thankful I stumbled across this chiropractic office.
Everything goes smoothly from check in to final exercises. I really like being able to use the SKED app to reschedule appointments on the fly. The staff there are really friendly and helpful and they care about their patients. Wonderful staff! Great service! I never miss a week. I originally went to dr jake with sciatic nerve pain due to a motorcycle accident. After a few adjustments, my nerve pain was greatly reduced. I have been a patient of dr jake’s for awhile now and the sciatica has not returned. I have been going to dr jakes for years now, and I highly recommend him for anyone suffering with back pain.
This place is worth the hype, but first let me tell you why, because I believe in transparency. I first searched out a chiropractor because I was having numbness in my toes when I would stand up. I had gone to many chiropractors over the years, even though I'm fairly young, so I was very surprised when I had my first consult with Dr. Shuppe and realized that his office was concerned about whole body wellness, and not just a once a week adjustment. I will admit, when you first arrive it can seem a little strange watching all of these people of different ages doing these strange exercises, but in truth, the human spine only has one correct form, so it makes sense to do exercises that encourage this form. You will first do a consult, followed by some xrays which are extremely important for proper care, next you will have a follow up consult to go over your xrays and to watch an extremely informative video 45mins, not boring whatsoever, but rather very interesting , and lastly, you will be given your care plan and payment options. I have been a patient for a little over a month now, and I happy to report that the numbness in my toes has disappeared. I was also on a pregnancy journey after losing a daughter in September and I am haopy to say that I am currently expecting again. Dr. Shuppe has not only improved the issues that I came in for, but he has also encouraged me to make all of my appointments and is doing consistent follow up care to make sure that my progress stays on track. On a side note. Since he knew I was hoping to conceive again, he also did both xrays and a spinal pressure tool at my first visit, so that I would still be able to compare my progress if I was able to get pregnant again since I wouldn't be able to have follow up xrays. Overall, if you can invest in your health, please do. It's truly a wonderful place full of caring people who just want to feel better mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Hello All. I attended Maximized Living-Family Freedom Chiropractic some time ago.I was feeling so much better.But.Unfortunately,I stopped attending.I recently had a very bad sciatic nerve flare up. I called the office and they took me in immediately. I have been in therapy w Dr Jake for about three weeks. I have already seen and felt a significant improvement in my leg pain and improved movement in my right leg. I also have less neck pain,back pain and headaches. I feel happier too knowing each person in the office with their positive spirit and helpfulness in my medical, physical and spiritual needs. I also am receiving nutritional advice to help me make better choices in foods, vitamins and to grow stronger. They also offer classes and fun events. I’m so happy I decided to return to this office and Dr Jake’s care. They are helping me turn my life around and I am so grateful. I highly recommend Dr Jake and the whole office staff. I am truly blessed to know each of them. I hope you will visit soon.Thank you.
Since I began going to Family Chiropractic I have felt better and have increased energy. I was able to lose 15-18lbs and maintain my weight. I always feel good and with a boost of energy after my adjustments.
