When my husband and I went in the staff were rude or condescending the whole time of being there. thought i was going into labor with our third child. The nurse was asking questions about previous visits and my husband helped me answer some of the questions. Especially when I was having a contraction or couldn’t remember. Apparently the nurse took that as my husband being rude to her and myself. The rest of the time the nurse and midwife had an attitude and didn't take any thing my husband had to say seriously. Also my husband and I talked and he went to let the nurse and midwife know that I was finished with the water they wanted me to drink and I would want to get checked again. They came in the room and kept asking me after I told them what I wanted and they disregarded everything that my husband and I have said because it wasn’t want they wanted to hear. At one point my husband asked the nurse and midwife why they were being rude to him and they threatened to call security. Which they did. All of this because my husband tried helping me with some information. After they threatened and ended up calling security on my husband I started ripping everything they had on me off and said I’m leaving and going to mercy from here on out. Told me I had to stay for 10 more minutes I said no and then they finally said they will have to have me sign a form saying leaving against medical advice. Which I wasn’t changed drastically enough to stay longer anyways according to the nurse and midwife! There was no head charge nurse or anyone higher up to come in and ask and see what was going on. Never coming back. Will also tell people go to mercy
I've never met such rude or condescending staff. Came here with my wife, she thought she was going into labor with our third child. The nurse was asking questions about previous visits and I helped my wife answer some of the questions. Apparently she took that as me being rude to her and my wife. The whole rest of the time she had an attitude and didn't take any thing I had to say seriously. At one point I asked her why she was being rude to me and they threatened to call security. All of this because I tried helping my wife fill out some information.
Had an amazing staff during my stay. I had a c section so I was there for the weekend and had several different nurses. They were all very nice and helpful. They came in each shift already knowing everything and would help me with everything I needed. As a first time mom the staff was always willing to help me and keep me calm.
Horrible experience here. Lots of miscommunication between staff which almost caused the death of myself and my child. Should have spokenup on this a long time ago. Horrible, just horrible. I'll never forget even a single detail of that day. Honestly, you don't deserve a start.
