Freeport Community Services is here to:
Provide a forum for assessing community needs
Facilitate programs to address defined needs
Provide information and referral concerning social service or other human needs
Help people access services
Provide direct services when appropriate including the operation of a food pantry to provide free emergency food for people who need it in our community

This is a terrific addition for the Freeport community. Many service under one roof My favorite is the " thrift shop". I enjoy stopping by to find a great Summer read or check for a book about Maine artists. Where better to look for such finds. I also keep an eye out for some fashion items to add to the limited wardrobe I brought from FL. Particularly if it's a cool summer!
This is such an amazing place it's hard to put into words how amazing this place is! There's a Thrift Shop here and the money goes twords something great to give back to the community whether it be heat for people's homes, local shelters, and many other things to help others. There's also a food pantry open Monday-Wednesday, General Assistance, and many other great things! The Freeport Community Center is BEYOND worth your time stopping by! Huge thank you to everyone involved!

Great thrift store right outside LL Bean. Great cause, great folks, and great values. Perhaps the beating heart of Freeport. Holiday items are available! #thriftyourgift
Excellent space for a gathering. Top quality sound - speakers / mic - and video projection. Flexible seating with stackable chairs and an adjacent kitchen space. Great facilities manager to help out!
Great deals today on books and pants. Snagged a good looking navy blue leather jacket for less than ten dollars. Pleasant workers in a well organized store with ease of access for the abled and disabled. Plenty of parking.
Prices have gone up dramatically for donated items. It's a sign of the times, but an unwelcome one. Donated items are good quality although they seem to have stopped taking furniture.
This is not just a thrift store, it’s a community hub with cooking classes, meals, help with utility bills and more. Wonderful people who have helped my family on many occasions. Worthy of people’s support.
This thrift store is exactly what I was hoping for when we moved her to Freeport. They have such a wide range of inventory and every week I go there is always something new. The volunteers are so helpful and friendly, you will no be disappointed when you stop by to pick up a few essentials! From furniture to clothing, to bits and bobs, and treasures at a great price the Freeport Community Center is a wonderful shop where everyone should be a regular!
This is an awesome shop with great deals! There are a lot of good brands, in fantastic condition. They offer everything; books, clothes, and furniture. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Have gone many times, and will continue to do so.
