The French Quarter RV Resort is conveniently located in the heart of downtown New Orleans, less than a ¼ mile from I-10 Exit 235A. We're within short walking distance of the French Quarter and several other major tourist attractions. We maintain 24 hour on-site management and security. Our facility operates much like a luxury hotel in the French Quarter, catering to all types of RVs. Accordingly, our rates are event driven and the average stay is 3-4 nights. The standard rate is $96/night; special event rates range from $115-250/night. Each of our 52 paved sites are at least 30’ wide x 60’ deep and features 20/30/50 amp electric, limited internet access, 62 channels of cable TV, city water and sewer. Our clubhouse provides a recreation room with 2 computers, fitness center and laundry rooms, ATM machine & 4 private baths with shower. The French Quarter-style courtyard surrounds an on-site 1 bedroom suite, available upon request at $250.00 per night. There's also a pool, hot tub, gazebo with bar facilities for your enjoyment and ice machine. Privately owned premium RV sites can be requested upon availability. This RV Resort was absolutely amazing in all aspects. We just got back from our trip and already planning another one soon. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The security guard was so nice and informative as she was born and raised there. She was able to tell us what areas to stay away from at night. It's a secure, gated park with high walls and spikes on top of those! The pool and hot tub were a perfect way to end the evening. We were able to walk just a few blocks to the French Quarter. Can't wait to go back!
I loved everything about my 2 night stay at French Quarter RV Resort. At $120/night, I thought it was a little pricey, but if you try to save a few bucks by staying across the river closest park I could find you'd be spending whatever you saved in taxi/Uber rides. Don't even think about PARKING near the French Quarter - that's insane as it's super expensive and hard to find. The RV park is very clean, easy to navigate, easy walking distance to all the French Quarter sights. Additionally, it's close to a terrific hike/bike trail that takes you to Mid-City and Audubon Park. Although I didn't use the park's bathrooms/showers, I checked them out and they were super clean/modern. The office was efficient and on-site host was helpful. This place takes security very seriously and I felt very safe in the park. Best of all, it's right next to I-10, so it's convenient and I thought the road noise was negligible. Is this a place where you want to hang out in front of your RV and soak up the sun and peaceful ambiance, absolutely not - you're here to explore one of America's great cities and this is a convenient launching those explorations
In terms of location, this place is great, We actually just walked to bourbon st. You will have a lot of restaurants options within walking distance. Place is clean, has security, pool, hot tub and laundry area which will take cc. Its on a cement/bricks and gated. Some of the sites have a screened in gazebos. It isn't cheap to stay here. You do get what u pay for except for loud noises outside the resort only if your RV AC isn't on. This is below i10 so you will hear loud music, cars and ambulance. Also place felt secure. We also had a pleasant and easy communication with the staff. They even called just to let me know what's going on.
Beautiful pavers around the entire park and for each site. The neighborhood is a little rough but completely walled park with spikes on top of wall and 24hr attendant/security. Sites are pretty much completely level, as the entire park is flat. Gated with excellent local 5G tower access within visual field of park, also was able to watch a movie on a Monday night using park wifi, with about 70% of park sites in use. Close to French quarter activities, although I'd recommend cabs to get to activities.
We really enjoyed this park! Walking distance to French Quarter, Treme and the St Louis Cemetery tour #1 which was awesome. Yes there is noise, but you’re right in the middle of everything so turn on your tv and your fan and it can easily be forgotten. Very well kept park, staff were always friendly and we felt very safe here! Definitely stay here if they have availability!
We stayed a few days here during Halloween. We did NOT partake in any of the Halloween activities around NO, but we did do some sightseeing. This resort was easily walkable to the French Quarter. There was some road noise from the interstate, but it did not bother us. If we were going to stay in NO again, this is definitely where we would stay.
If you want to be close to everything the French Quarter has to offer, this is the place to be! The sites are level and very well maintained. The only reason we did not give 5 stars was the price. This is the most we have ever paid for a site, ever.
The location is excellent for exploring NOLA/French Quarter. We felt safe here even though there are lots of homeless hanging and sleeping nearby the gates. Pool area, laundry and bathrooms were average.
Very nice place. I felt safe and enjoyed the pool, hottub,gym. Plenty of shower room and laundry. Concrete wall and security to keep everyone safe. Walking distance for alot of things. Just keep your eyes open for vagrants. My group of 5 was happy with our 3 day stay. Thanx guys.
We absolutely love this rv park…was recommended by a friend…it is secure, well lit at night…Shelly is the nicest person we met in New Orleans!! She gave us a lot of recommendations of places to go and places to see…she is the best!! America was very helpful when checking in!! Would definitely recommend this rv park while visiting New Orleans…love it!!
