F.R.E.S.H. Food Hub is a buying club & local food store open to both the public & members offering the best possible prices on wholesome, healthy foods.
Our Co-op functions as a Not for Profit. This means after running costs, all profit gets put into our programming for food and health education in our community. We are a grassroots program striving to serve producers and community members alike. Customer support, memberships, volunteers and motivated individuals keep us going.

The products sold at the FRESH Food Hub will prioritize a origin within a 120 mile radius of Norwood, CO. The exceptions of non-local products will be prioritized by Colorado made, USA made and organic, fair trade items and companies unaffiliated with larger corporate structures.
Counties included in this radius are Mesa, Delta, Montezuma, Montrose, Ouray, La Plata, San Miguel, San Juan and Dolores. Mileage is based on highway configurations which will include up to Paonia down to Durango. Map coming soon.

Mission
The F.R.E.S.H. Food Hub brings local producers and neighbors together in a cooperative marketplace to grow a healthy community, economy & a more sustainable food system. We offer local, organic, sustainable, affordable food & a Hub for the community to grow together, eat local & save money.
Values
-Participation: The FRESH Food Hub offers multiple ways to participate: participants can buy and sell edibles and goods; become a board member, a buy-in member, a work/trade member; partake in different educational opportunities and resources; or teach! Our Hub will create a symbiotic relationship with the community by providing economically and socially viable transactions.
-Transparency: The FRESH Food Hub strives to create a welcoming environment by inviting interactions, questions, input, membership and involvement. The Food Hub commits to being transparent by having member meetings, financial statements, decision making processes and information on all products and producers open and available to the public.

Our policy is strictly non-discriminatory and all inclusive. We make decisions through a democratic, interactive process. -Health: The FRESH Food Hub builds a foundation of community health by creating economic opportunity, offering quality food, lifestyle education and by creating social networks and friendships. The Hub offers a sense fulfillment by empowering individuals to positively influence their community and their own lives.
-Accessibility: The FRESH Food Hub will be open to the public as much as possible, with additional accessible hours for educational and community events, meetings for all types of membership, in-shop work days and volunteer trainings. Within the shop we will provide information about products, producers, and internal and external program offerings. We will offer high quality food and products at the lowest possible price, and strive to offer low income options, while still supporting producers economically.
-Sustainability: The FRESH Food Hub supports sustainable practices by nurturing a closed loop economy of local, organic, small scale producers in the Wright's Mesa community and within a 120 mile radius of Norwood, Colorado. We strive to lessen the impact of fuel usage, packaging and industrial waste by creating in-shop procedures, and buying products that adhere to environmental stewardship. As a collectivized program the Food Hub incites a dynamic, physical and emotional invest in the program, making its’ internal structure self sufficient, affective and effective.
