Our own version of wholefoods with a touch of GR flavor. I love the feeling of this place; it's like having a flare of a marketplace of small towns with a diversity of flavors and smells that screams Michigan! They have a mix of a bakery, meats, fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts and sweets in bulk and a nice variety of vitamins and supplements for a holistic approach to health and nutrition. Very nice variety of kombucha, some made locally! Prices are reasonable, even after wholefoods opened up again in the city, Fresh Thyme is still my choice!
Nice store,always clean whenever I stop in there. The deli has a nice selection to choose from The vitamin/healthy living dept.also has a nice variety to pick from, very helpful and friendly staff in that department.
Do not ever make online orders here at this store as they will never able to fulfill your orders. I have placed my order and schedule a pick up time on Sunday. Someone called me to cancel the order because they were out of stock and asked if I can do it the next day instead as they will restock it in the morning which I did exactly what he said. The next day my order got canceled last minute because they sold it to everyone else who came in the store. I was told by the manager of Grand Rapids store that online order will never guarantee you will able to get them which it’s ridiculous. Why they even have online order option when they can’t fulfill customer orders. Wish they were just letting me know from the beginning so I’m not wasting my time.
Awesome market with a wide range of products. Very fresh produce, gluten free products, a very large bulk foods, wine and beer, bakery, deli, fish, and full service meat counter. I like that it is always clean and the staff are great. We look forward to shopping here everytime and usually make a special trip to get here.
After seeing the item I wanted, I drove down from Sparta to shop here. I was amazed by the cleanliness, the orderly layout of store, and the stock! I need up buying far more because the prices are amazing! I will be back weekly to shop here. The staff too, are great team!
I started coming to this store before they did the renovations. FTM has always been my go-to store, the produce stays fresh for longer than other places, I love the hygiene and health section, and the best items to choose from plus the prices. I am eligible for EBT given I work part time & just had a baby. Today 05/08/23 was the 4th time I’ve went to check out and certain food items did not ring up as food items. The first 3 times I just shook it off and paid for an obvious mistake, it was only about $8.99 I owed. Today I owed $22 for two food items and 2 can drinks. I was in self check out & was told to go to lane 2. The cashier at lane 2, Rebekah, asked me if I wanted to pay the $22 or take them off. I reminded her that these are food items and should be covered. She said there’s nothing they can do, they can’t change it. I asked for a manager and she said “I’ll call one of them, but I don’t think there’s anything they can do.” I forgot the managers name but he was slim with dark hair. He fixed the problem and I was able to leave. Im very grateful he was able to help, but I felt extremely disrespected by the cashier. I have worked in customer service for 6 years and I have previous management positions at a grocery store and another retail store. I observed Rebekah did not want to deal with the situation.. she didn’t offer a solution and did not act appropriate in a situation where the customer may become upset. Given my previous jobs, I already knew this was a problem that could be solved. I am fed up with having to pay for the store’s mistake. If customers are allowed to make purchases using a Bridge Card, then all food items should ring up as food. I don’t know if I was treated this way because of the color of my skin, my young age, my visible tattoos, or simply because the cashier had a bad day, I will never know. I will not forget my experience here. I will miss this store. I’m not sure I will return soon, if at all. Thanks if you read this.
Very clean store and amazingly helpful staff! I realized I forgot my wallet at checkout and Sam put all my groceries in a cooler and even put the rotisserie chicken back on the warmer so I could drive to get my wallet!
You can usually find a deal on fresh produce here, and their fresh salmon is my favorite!
Anytime I’m in the area, I stop here because of their great selection for specific health products that I enjoy. Their deli and fresh produce sections are also fantastic. They do such a great job of keeping quality stuff in stock!
Me & my wife shop here now & then. Great deals on huge boneless chicken breasts. Fresh ingredients are very important in cooking a great dish.like my Homeaide chef salad or pasta salad. Sincerly Dennis & Nancy Merryman., fryday night is Homeaide pizza night* yummo* even the dough from scratch*!
