I wish I could write a good review because the store looks cute, but the customer service is the worst and their furniture isn’t any better. When I first received my furniture which was in July there was some issues from the start some issues were handled, but they still haven’t fixed my sectional. It is not align properly and the cushion on the chaise is not align properly either. After waiting a couple of months for a furniture company to fix my sectional they’ve said there’s nothing to do and it just looks like that. I am not happy at all. Apart from that When I initially contacted them about the sectional it took them several days to get back to me, I express how that is not okay, and they responded that I am not the only customer, that is not a way to talk to a customer especially from a company who take pride on being local. I now want my money back which they told me I couldn’t or I want a new sectional that is align correctly. Update: I finally got my chaise cushion replaced, and it looks much better along with another cushion that had a rip was replaced as well. As far as the frame that clearly looks misaligned that has still not been fixed and they will never fix it because England Furniture said it was fine. Well it clearly doesn't look fine after arguing with them for 3 months I finally give up I appreciate for them replacing the other items but I will still not recommend them because they have poor customer service and they do not stand by their product. This whole situation could've been handled better.

My wife and I purchased a large England sectional that was a floor mode during the recent Memorial Day sale. The floor model discount was excellent and the couch is so comfortable. We are very pleased with the end product. I personally really like he lifetime frame warranty and was impressed with Ken and Jenny’s relaxed not pushy and genuine customer service. Highly recommend as we will be back!

Ken was awesome to work with! He asked what I was interested in and never pushed anything on me. He took the extra time to look up what I wanted, and has more options than anywhere I’ve been to. He was able to answer all the questions I had, and showed interest in what my plans were for my house. His prices are second to none, I saved a boat load compared to what I would have spent else where. *cough Ashley/Art-van/Talsma cough* I will definitely be going back when the time comes to get more furniture from my house.

In the middle of buying and selling a house we knew we wanted new furniture. I saw a picture on Facebook for this beautiful dining room set that would fit our new house perfectly on Great Lakes page. We also found the dining room table at another store that happened to be a little less. Not only did Great Lakes price match but they went above and beyond to help us. The service was great, we found the perfect couch and a chair with a recliner in it, matched our couch and pillows, along with buying side furniture that matched our dining set. Delivery was fast and easy. If we ever need to buy more furniture, we will most definitely head to Great Lakes first!

Cant believe I almost drove past this place, I sure would have regretted it. I was looking for couches in Grand Rapids area for weeks and was having no luck. Owner Ken, was awesome & it’s like he knew exactly what I was looking for. Quality of our furniture exceeds our expectations. I will defiantly be stopping by again soon.

Always ready to help with honest information and suggestions to meet personal needs. They take excellent care of new and repeat customers we are now both!. Deliver what they promise and make anything that wasn’t quite right right immediately. Low pressure “relationship” style of doing business is why we are totally loyal.

This place has a great vibe, amazing furniture and furnishings. Definitely has a West Michigan feel to it, lots of cool decorations, art and unique trinkets. Jenny and Kelin were extremely helpful and easy to work with. They really went above and beyond! Thank you for the great deals, we will be back!

We have been absolutely delighted with our new sectional, ottoman and chair from Great Lakes Furnishings. The quality and comfort is outstanding! The folks at Great Lakes Furnishings are knowledgeable and a delight to work with! Its been a great experience all around!

Customer Service could be better. Following up with customers in order status would be a big help. Having to call for order updates isn’t efficient. However, we’ve been pleased with selection of items.

From the minute I walked in to Great Lakes Furnishings I knew I had found a unique furniture store! My wife and I are picking out a custom sectional and can't wait to get it in a few weeks!
