Friendly Animal Hospital

We looked everywhere for an affordable orthopedic surgeon for our cat and finally found this place. We drove all the way from Corona and it was worth it. Our cat had been shot by a bb gun. They staff was so sweet, even to my kids. The doctor explained everything. The staff was very helpful and we are grateful that our cat is on the road to recovery

For being an animal hospital they do NOT know how to treat animals. My partner and I wanted to try a new vet as our usual place is usually extremely busy as it goes off of a first come first serve basis. From the beginning, the doctor comes in with another female assistant, as she goes to check on my dog, she comes from behind his side to examine him. Anyone who has worked with dogs knows that is not the appropriate way to approach ANY dog as it makes them feel uncomfortable as they are unable to see what is going on. My dog is already an anxious dog, given that they have never met our dog or us we expected some type of knowledge from them on how to appropriately approach a dog given this is a animal hospital. The vet also just stared at my dog, again another thing you do not do with a dog you’ve never met or even with one you have met as dogs see this as a sign of intimidation. He did not take the time to make sure my dog felt safe and felt no threat. I would previously recommend this place to anyone who had asked about vets in the area as I have had friends that had positive experiences. I will not be coming back and will not be recommending this place going forward as they clearly do not know how to handle dogs.

Do not, under any circumstances, visit this place. We brought our dog in to get her teeth checked--they put her under anesthesia and only then told us they needed to pull 7 of her teeth! We now suspect she did not need that many or possibly any teeth pulled and they did this just to drive up the price over $1k with no regard to her actual health. Thankfully she seems to be ok and still eats and drinks fine, but I've heard stories from friends and neighbors whose pets experienced horrible treatment at this establishment--in one case a dog died due to their negligence. Dr. Tran should not be allowed to "treat" any animal ever again.

I’ve been coming here for over 8 years. The staff is very friendly. Every time I see the doctor, they greet you with a warm smile.

I paid 500 dollars to run blood work on my dog. Now I have to chase down the vet to get the results and have them explained to me. It's been 2 weeks. Ridiculous you would think this would be apart of the 500 dollars I paid. No other vet is will to talk to me about the results. The initial appointment I had scheduled had almost a 1.5 hour wait time. Keep in mind it was a scheduled appointment. The vet did not want to explain to me what type of test the recommended blood work would contain. She did not even touch my dog during the exam. Can't wait to get this blood work figured out and not come back.

Zero bed side manner. Zero follow thru. Zero prognosis. I did wrong by taking my dog here. She paid with all.

I came here because I knew it was on the cheaper end of veterinarian care. I just wanted to get a general exam of my new kitten. The front office staff was very nice and welcoming and quick with paperwork. But as soon as we got into the room I felt rushed. The doctor wanted to get out of there as soon as he could, and I was recommended a lot of very unnecessary procedures/care. In the least I got some good advice, however some of my questions were still not answered because the doctor rushed us out of the office then acted like he was doing us a favor giving us the visit for free when their website says all first time exams are free. Overall, it’s an okay animal hospital but I think next time I will be taking my kitten back to better vet that I’ve been to previously.
