It's small but super convenient if you live in this part of Dunedin, especially for dropping in quickly to pick up a book you've placed on hold. They have a surprisingly adequate selection of children's books here as well. Yes, it's a smaller selection than what they have at the main branch, but I actually prefer the smaller, more concentrated section for my toddler so we can make our selections more quickly. They also have desks to sit and work at and even coloring pages and crayons for little ones. Don't go in expecting a full-size library and you won't be disappointed!
This library branch is very convenient for those of us who live north of Main St. And don't want to take a trek downtown to the main library. While this branch is very small, they have a good selection of the most popular books, including a surprisingly good selection of childrens' books. There are small desks and some seating in center of the small library room including a selection of DVD movies and audio CDs. We have also found it convenient by placing holds on books in the online system and having them ready at this closer branch within a few days.
I use this little library all the time. I just go on the app and choose what I want…then pick them up here! Close to home and such sweet people!
Lucky me! I use the bus so I was happy to find this tiny library is right on the Dunedin bus line #61. It saves me a lot of time and waiting outside in the heat for a bus. Before I discovered it, I would ride all the way to downtown Clearwater and walk to that library to pick up books ordered on line. Now, I can make the pick up or drop off of books within an hour. Thank you. Dunedin library on Douglas requires a bus transfer to get to.
No desks to sit and work at. Single room with a few chairs and books.
