Richard A. Frio, O.D. attended St. Bonaventure University. He then went on to attend the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, graduating in the top five of his class with a doctor of optometry in 1975. Dr. Frio has been in successful private practice for 40 years. He is a proud member of the American Optometric Association, and New York State Optometric Association and past president and member of the Central New York Optometric Association. He is an avid member of the North Syracuse – Liverpool Lions Club. He has been recognized for various achievements in the field, including the New York State Optometric Association Public service Award for the Give One Day program. He was also recognized by the NYS Optometric Association public service award for the Special Olympic’s Opening Eyes Program to which Dr Frio was the New York State clinical director.
Bridget A. Frio, O.D. earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Binghamton University in 2004. She worked in a vision research laboratory at Upstate University before enrolling in Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She received clinical honors from each of her five externship sites specializing in disease, contact lens, low vision, and primary care. Completing externships at Northeastern Eye Institute in Scranton, PA and the Veterans Hospital in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Frio graduated in May 2009 with her doctor of optometry degree and joined the practice in July 2009. Bridget is a proud member of the American Optometric Association, New York State Optometric Association and the Central New York Optometric Association .
