Loved it here. It was sweltering hot. Enjoyed the water. Totally affordable
For a community recreation center this place has so much to offer! They have child care, basketball courts, racket ball, spin classes, a massive gym, an indoor lap pool and an outdoor waterpark with actual slides.
My family visited the water park at this location and had an excellent time. Every pool and the lazy river is wheelchair accessible. The water features are well made. The lifeguards were very attentive. There is plenty of shaded seating. The food from the concession stand. Everyone had a good time. The only drawback is the concrete ground in the park gets very hot, so I would recommend water shoes.
Great gym facility. Fitness classes. Free weights. Tons of machines. Indoor lap pool. Daycare center hours could be improved but they take excellent care of your kids and remember their names.
I absolutely love this gym. I’ve been a member for the last 3 years, and the facility and equipment continue to get better every year. First off, the gym is HUGE, and it offers two levels of everything you need to get the kind of workout you’re looking for. They offer a variety of classes such as yoga, spinning, aerobics and more. I have not taken a class yet, but I’m planning on it soon. I’ll post an update once I do. The entire facility is very clean, and the staff is helpful when you need them. I take my son to the child care facility frequently, and he always has a great time meeting new kids and playing games. Lastly, if you’re looking to get some laps in, or just relax in the water, they have several indoor swimming pools, as well as a seasonal outdoor waterpark. The facility offers so much more to see and do. I highly recommend this facility for all of your fitness and recreational needs.
Great place to get out of the heat and house for the family. And for $11 you can't beat it! I haven't been to Hurricane Harbor in years but I'm pretty sure the cost is slightly more. Even though there are less "rides" there is plenty to keep you busy and cool.
I'm always able to find an available lane for a swim. Staff is nice, gym area is clean, and the value for the price is outstanding. If you are a Frisco resident you get a discount. No commitment, payments are month to month and you can cancel anytime.
It was fun love the lazy river but the lifeguard should be more attentive
Frisco Athletic Center is an AMAZING facility! More suburbs should make facilities like this! Great gym, classes, indoor pool, water park, life guards, trainers, bball courts, racket ball, pickleball on Sundays and tons of classes. And the price is. Awesome! Only thing I would change is the limited hours, but 25 hours is too much to expect from city parks and rec. But all in all... It's AMAZING!
If you’re looking to play basketball, they rent out half their gym to people stealing money from families who think they’re getting basketball camp when they’re only getting exercise— making the other half of the gym unbelievably crammed. When they’re not renting it out- they let pickle ball and volleyball take over. Their consideration for the basketball needs of their community is a massive joke
