Small town cinema that cozy, comfortable and welcoming. The young staff is friendly and likable. The seats feel good, plenty of room. The drinks are cold and popcorn is good. Enjoyable place.
I was not impressed with the facility. In the past, it was always clean! This time, the theater room floor was dirty- leftover popcorn under the seats. Also, the room was dark! 15 minutes before the movie was supposed to start. We told the employees but they did nothing. We had to use our flashlights on phones in order to see. The screen was dark also even though there were commercials blaring. Ladies room was dirty- most stalls were out of order and the 2 that were working were gross. The employees were not doing anything except sitting on their phones. Items needed to be restocked . I was not impressed!
I haven’t been here in about 12 years but this place has changed since I was in high school. It’s run down. We had to ask them to turn the movie on 10 minutes after it was suppose to start. The theatre was freezing and some of the guests actually left because it was so cold. When I went to ask they adjust the temperature I couldn’t find any employees. There was trash and popcorn all over the seating area and the trash bins were full. The woman’s bathroom was nasty. All the functioning toilet bowls looked like they hadnt been cleaned in a while. The one I chose had a trash can full of used sanitary items and had a plunger in it. Overall I was really disappointed and cold!
Fritztown Cinema is an awesome small town movie theater. Seats are comfy and the staff is friendly. They keep the theaters very clean. Good selection at the snack bar. I love that they have a full bar with beer, wine and mixed drinks.
We were here 2 days ago. Facility used to be so nice. Now it's run down and dirty. Most of the toilets in women's restroom out of order. Unedible popcorn with weird flavored "butter" topping. Hopeful that all this can be improved as we all want to return to the movies.
Not overpriced like other theaters. Super cozy, quaint place with a welcoming, calm feel. Got drinks and old school theater food. Don't get old theaters like this anymore. Highly recommend.
Nice theater but some unfriendly staff. Small bar but at least has one. The projectors are top-notch. Very good quality picture and screens. The leather seats are nice, but unfortunately they are only in one screen. Pretty impressive for a small town theater.
Had significant trouble with an EVO gift card and got screwed out of about $20. While not technically responsible for Evo operations, the manager made no attempt to provide some compensation. There were some easy options available....
We love fritztown theatre! It’s always clean, lots of good snacks, and comfy seats. The staff is friendly and we appreciate the senior discount. We are so looking forward to the theatre’s re-opening! Even if they just show old movies for awhile!
Mostly current films and kid selections. Good snacks! The snack and popcorn prices have gone WAY UP!! Box of candy is $4. An Icee is $5. Be prepared. Seating is very comfortable. This theater supports the Hill Country Film Festival! A big plus!
