"Our Kitchen" was there showcasing the asparagus! We went inside and gathered out fruits and vegetables came out, and our asparagus was done to perfection! Wonderful stop! Don't miss out!
First time visiting Yakima and was recommended to visit here for local produce. Plenty of options and the produce looks amazing and is super fresh. Was greeted with a smile and friendly conversation. Definitely a place to visit when you are in the area. LOVED the green apples that are pink inside. So delicious!
These guys take the time to make hand made smoked garlic in a smoker, the taste the smell it is just awesome!. owners are very friendly, always treat me like family, best fruit&vegs in the yakima valley. 5 star service and produce. Will be back weekly till your closed for the season. Thanks again for the yummy fruit this year.
The owner showed us some real.kindness today! Our yakima hotel gave us free apple coupons for this place and being how much I love fruit we had to stop in. Couldn't buy as much as we wanted cause of the laws at the Canadian border against fresh fruit and veggies so we only got what we could eat for 2 days but the owner Gave us extra apples and was most kind. I loved seeing all the fresh products!new stuff for us like low.acid.tomatoes. we'd be here every week if we lived in the area and encourage all.to.come.visit this market. We shall return when we are in the area!
Made a quick stop on our way through town later in the afternoon and was suprised by the selection. They had a large variety of local fruits for the time of year and still had a lot of great produce on the shelf for being that late in the day. The berries were great so were the hybrid apricots. Definitely worth a visit.
Great place for local fresh produce. Sometimes difficult to find parking. Prices are a little on the high side but willing to spend this to help support the local economy, provided the products remain in good condition. You can use cash or cars which is nice as well.
Visited here in fall 2022 , and my partner and I still dream about this place. It was home to most deeply succulent, sweet, juicy, plump fruits! They call themselves “valley’s finest fruits” but I think it should really be Earth’s finest fruits. Here in the Midwest, we have searched every local farmer’s market within probably 100 miles searching from plums, peaches, apples, apricots, watermelons of comparable quality, and I am increasingly convinced Yakima’s Fruit City is unparalleled
My daughter and I went there over the last weekend. First i had been there in a very time. I used to go there all the time with my grandmother at least once a week. But the last time I was in there it knda looked sad. but I was very impressed with The fruit stand. I went in looking for canning fruit and vegetables and I got the best help from the people down there very friendly and they even helped you out to the car with it that was great thanks guys. And all the tomatoes and peaches and cucumbers that I bought I found one mushy cucumber that I’ve been pickling now that the rest of this fruit has been gorgeous for canning fruit. Back in the day we never got fruit and vegetables that is this pretty for canning. I really recommend people going down there for the fruit and vegetables I’ll be back. Best fruit and produce around. They don't just fill their shelves they are selective with their suppliers and always have great fruit and produce. My favorite is the deep fried asparagus they have during the asparagus festival in May. They get great berries, hard tree fruit, soft tree fruit, melons, And they get anything they can local, when available.
The produce here is great. We found two things we had never seen before. Prices and customer service are great.
