Fuji's House

This place used to be great. We got two teriyaki entrees today, and the vegetables were 95% onions. We each got basically three pieces of broccoli, some carrot shavings they were paper thin, and the rest was onion. The flavor of the food was okay. $2 extra per person for fried rice, and no lunch menu on Sundays. For the price you pay I expect much more. Our server was friendly but not attentive. I used to love coming here, but don’t plan on ever coming back.

First time my family visited this place and it will be the last. Not the cleanest, they seriously have clean dishes on chairs behind customers eating and have storage in dinning area that can fall on customers. Even the bathrooms have boxes stored in there as well. When you walk your shoes are sliding everywhere. Wondering if anyone is really food serve safe that works here. The Health department needs called. Then the employees have gloves on but not changing them out after picking up dirty dishes then serving others. The water pitchers look so nasty!! They was pouring from at the tables! It was the worst. The food was okay but concerned if it was even safe. If they are not ashamed how dirty the front of house is I could only image how nasty the back of the house is. Wasn’t worth the price. Our chef didn’t even say more than 3 words to us. We even had a nat flying around while trying to eat. We want a full refund I doubt we will receive one.

I worked at a 5 star Japanese steakhouse on Anna Maria Island in Florida where the food was absolutely stunning. Hibachi, sushi, everything. I have been looking for a place that meets their standards ever since moving to Cincinnati and after visiting a variety of places, the quality of food here is just as good, if not better. The atmosphere and service are slightly lacking but if you’re looking for great food, this place is a FOR SURE bet. Being knowledgeable about the food from prior service experience working in a Japanese restaurant, every single question I had was answered, especially because my daughter has a severe raw egg allergy. I couldn’t be more happy. Anyone complaining about pricing should go eat at another similar restaurant first. The pricing is very reasonable for the quality of food. As someone that has worked in a similar restaurant with slightly better quality of food solely because of location and freshness of food being in Florida, this place is amazing! Thank you so much and we will DEFINITELY be back and thank you so much for the authentic food that was provided! And that Brooklyn Agin or whoever previously said that her carrots were sliced thinly and she was upset about it is HILARIOUS! I guess they expect thick cut carrots that take an hour to cook because they obviously have NEVER been to a restaurant before or just have zero common sense, is so funny to me and that they complained about the amount of onions! lol! You have NO CLUE what you are talking about. You are clueless. That's how it is suppose to be, ya chooch!

I wasn't going to come based on the reviews but I'm glad I did. It was great, the cook was awesome my 3 year old had a blast.. I ordered chicken with extras/scallops, rice & veggies.. I had enough to feed myself, my two kids and had alot of leftovers.. Will definitely be back!!Food: 5/5

Overall experience was good. The food was as good but slightly underwhelming. My party ordered mainly chicken entrees but I was able to try the steak which was good. Refills on drinks were few and far between. The hibachi experience was good though. Lots of fun. A little pricey for the quality of food you get.Food: 4/5

It seems too many people order online at the same time and get upset bc it takes time to make those 40 orders at the same time. Keep that in mind when you read a bad review about waiting. The good food is worth it. They do a great job.Food: 5/5

Terrible service. One order was supposed to come with steamed rice that we had to ask for, the other we asked for fried rice but got steamed rice and then we were told that if they go back for fried rice now after they forgot it when it was ordered that it would take a long time. Asked for a refill on a Pepsi and he brought Diet Pepsi, then when he was told 3 more times that he was back to the table he never brought it, so we were able to flag down someone else that got it finally. Then since we were part of a large group they include an 18% tip which they didn’t earn. The hostess asked if everything was good and we explained the issues and she was very apologetic and said she would have her manager fix it, but when the bill came, nothing was adjusted, so not sure what the fix was. Never going back. Would not recommend.

Great place. Tons of food; I always leave with a to-go box. Fried rice is great. Spring rolls are prolly my favorite in the greater Cincy area.Food: 5/5

There is a limit to how much one will accept for good food, however I shan't return. The service was stupendously slow, absolutely glacial. Combined with the utter lack of ambiance this isn't worth your time or money.Food: 5/5
