Fulton County Library
"The Fairburn Library has been in the community since 1969 and is the Fulton County Library System’s oldest standing library. It has a homegrown atmosphere like its surrounding community. The interior gray and green carpeting with lime green walls compliment the soothing décor and newly renovated interior. The wide lobby with brick and hardwood flooring also contribute to a comfortable feeling as you enter. You can come home to the Fairburn Library and enjoy the latest in technology with public spaces for adults, teens, and children."

Grand Opening was AMAZING!!! Commissioner Robb, Fairburn Mayor Elizabeth Carr-Hurst and County Manager Dick Anderson were there are well as others! They served light refreshments and danishes. The virtual reality machine was awesome!! I was told by Director Gayle Holloman that more libraries are to open soon with renovated facilities. I can't wait to THANK YOU Fulton County for putting the effort back into our communities.
I was very surprise to see what a nice library we have! The receptionist name Eugene was not the nicest. He didn’t seem to want to even want to be there. I really hope this improves and we can have someone who is welcoming and nice.
I visited this location on 10-6-22..There was a gentleman at the desk when I arrived. I spoke, but did not hear him respond. I spoke again and he barely raised his voice. I later returned to the desk & a lady was there. I explained that I was having a problem logging in, she gave me another pass, I returned to enter my library I'd #, but still not able to log in. She comes over & enter the # of the temporary pass that was given to me. I said I was entering my library I'd # in, she gets smart & says, you got to enter a # in for it to work. I explained, I would have, had I been given instructions, I thought that my I'd # was the # to be used. The staff gave me the impression that they did not feel like working today. The customer services was not the friendly experience I was expecting to received from a librarian. I wanted to give a rating of a 3 but gave them the benefit of the doubt with a 4 instead.
I've never been scolded so much by a librarian in my life. She kicked me off my phone even though 2 other people were on their phones and she wanted my wife to "control" our 18 month old son and asked to refrain him from leaving the kids area. He's a toddler! Give him a break no one can control an 18 month old let alone have the mental discipline to stay in one area. Not returning here ever again. Never met such a mean Librarian, Be nice or find a different profession.
A little over a month ago my son got his first library card. This is a lovely library, it has a inviting atmosphere, a plethora of books, and the librarians are inviting, engaged, and helpful. Thank you to everyone involved.
Great place and employees. And they have a you bookstore buy and donate books.
Friendly and professional staff. They always go the "extra mile" to assist patrons of the library. They're extremely knowledgeable and courteous. Mr. Haskins is very resourceful and helpful, as are the other librarians. This branch is one of the best run operations I've experienced. It's a very active branch and a contribution to the Fairburn community. Proud it's located in the heart of the City where it's easily accessible from various locations. A huge asset to families, particularly, students. Just want them to realize that their tireless efforts are not going unnoticed by the public. Thanks!
Iibrary staff very friendly, will find books or resources you need. Library clean and quiet. Has lots of activities there for teens, i.e. GED, Building girls self confidence, etc. Only one downside no study room only one meeting room
Very good. The wifi was good. A child was crying very loud and they didn't respond quickly. This was a distraction. Need to act more swiftly.
Very nice, professional staff and great environment to study in. They also have a snack area and very clean bathrooms.
