Great experience here. Came with a friend to try this place out and it was worth the 2 hour drive from St. Louis. I got the duck fettuccine and it was very rich and flavorful. Our waitress was very helpful with our wine selection and overall it was a very good experience being able to dine here. I would highly recommend people to stop by and check this place out if they are ever in the mood for Italian food.
Not only is Gabriel's a great place to dine, but also a great place to shop for imported Italian food and drink. The atmosphere is warm and inviting; the food is excellent. I love buying imported olives and Italian wine from Gabriel's. Update March 2022. You must try the Pear and Walnut Ravioli. Unbelievable. Very nostalgic to me for some reason. There were hints of chocolate and the combination is something you would not expect. I would also recommend the meatballs for an appetizer. Great service.
First time at an Italian restaurant and I must say the food was delicious. I ordered the spaghetti and a cosmopolitan. It was a good experience for the first time.
Decent Italian restaurant! Food is delicious, especially the fact they have real Italian ice-cream I miss it so much! Atmosphere is great, prices are higher than average in Cape, however the quality of food is as well much higher then average in the area, therefore worth visiting for sure!
Excellent food and service. One of the best restaurants in Cape Girardeau. The appetizers were excellent. I had the duck fettuccine and it was very good. Definitely worth your time.Dine in: Yes
Came here with a colleague. The food was absolutely amazing!! I would highly recommend this place if you ever make a trip down to Cape Girardeau.Food: 5/5
It is what you would expect from an upscale Italian restaurant - clean, elegant, great service, friendly staff or owner not sure, and great food! Would rate it a 4.5 if I could based on only one thing. My only complaint at all would be the dipping oil for the bread. Its just olive oil and that's it. Nothing added to the oil to heighten the flavor. The bread was better by itself. Not a deal breaker by any means, I just feel like a little red pepper flake, salt, pepper, and parm would have made the oil better for dipping the bread. Overall, definitely worth the trip to dine there and will surely return again sometime soon.
Wow - what a feast! We stumbled upon this amazing place when visiting the area, and had one of our all time best dinner experiences. Everything we had was so flavorful, creative, and yummy. We are not vegetarians but my wife's mushrooms/squash lasagna was amazing - better than any meat lasagne. And Rachel delightfully answered all our foodie questions. Highly recommend, we hope to back!
Food was good, a little overpriced in my opinion but understand the price reflects the atmosphere of the restaurant. There is an additional fee when paying with credit card, not much but just a heads up.
Great service. Food was fantastic, I had the salmon and the combination of that, asparagus and scalloped potato really popped off. Everyone was super friendly and the chef was checking in with us to make sure everything was good. 10/10
