At Galaxy Theatres we take the responsibility of providing a distraction free movie experience very seriously. Every member of the audience has spent their hard earned money on tickets, and deserve the opportunity to watch movies without others talking on their phones, texting, or listening to phones ring during the show. Light and sound pollution distract from the atmosphere, experience, and film it. Reasoning aside for checking a phone, (as there are MANY valid reasons) a patron and any courteous individual has a conscious choice to step outside when said reason occurs or disturb those who surround them. We encourage individuals to turn off their phone completely, but understand that this is not always an option due to circumstances beyond ones control. Turning off your phone is not mandatory, stepping outside to be on it however, is. Although some individuals may not agree with our posted policy, or the result of its enforcement, it is one we will continue to abide by. Upholding a policy is no personal attack on any individual, but merely our obligation to provide the entertainment experience to our ticket holders that meets our high standards of excellence. Those that are unable to enjoy a film without making a disturbance or are unable to courteous to the rest of the audience will kindly be asked to leave without a refund. These rules should not come as a surprise as they are posted throughout each of our buildings in addition to being the last thing one sees before the movie starts. We are always appreciative when Galaxy Theatres is your choice for an entertainment experience, but if one can’t follow this request than we may not be the optimal choice for you.
