Our first time here and we love it. Food and service was amazing. Everyone was so friendly. My husband had the stuffed softshell crab, he loves it. I had the crispy redfish and it was freaking good. If you're a Merlot lover, the Meeker was really good and smooth.Food: 5/5
We love the food. The kindness from the staff. Everything was delicious. If I had to eat there every day on my vacation, I'd be totally fine with that. The portions were perfect and especially for the price. Definitely check this place out and they're ooey gooey cake, omg, out of this world. It's in one of the pictures I posted. Kid-friendliness: We had our 11 month old who can be vocal. I pack a lot of stuff n things for him to keep occupied, but i just feel the staff took that into consideration when waiting on us, and knowing we would probably need to speed up the dining experience. The manager even came over to chat with our 7 yr old and offered her ice cream as her birthday had been the day prior.
We had a wonderful time my 2 friends who celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary. We went there for lunch and it was great to I'll beyond so great that atmosphere was beautiful. The service was great and our wait staff. Person was a wonderful young lady. Her name was Jenny and she was excellent with the table. The desserts with delicious the pork chop was delicious. The fish was excellent and so was the stuff baked chicken
I struggled with this review. You see - this isn't a typical establishment for us due to the cost but it was for a close friends birthday and so here we are! We started with the Eggplant Orleans - perfectly fried eggplant disc's topped with a cream sauce that contained crab and had a very light flavor of lemon. The eggplant was very crispy on the outside and the sauce had just the right amount of lemon flavor. Not tart, but you knew it was there. It made you want to eat slowly and enjoy it. We had the Chilean Salmon and the Mixed Grille - personally, I'd pass on the Mixed Grille and go straight for the salmon it was GREAT. Not that the Mixed Grille was bad, mind you - but the salmon was a more complex dish and the latter was, well - two lamb chops and two tiny birds with a lot of small bones to pick around very, very good, by the way. We had the corn grits for the side sides are big, you can certainly share on with your date and they were great, and a good pairing with the salmon we thought. We wrapped it up with the New Orleans bourbon bread pudding - a mountain of a desert that you'll push to get through because it is that good. The drinks two old fashioneds were as go be expected from any bar. I can't say we'll be back soon as it is a VERY spend place for us, and we feel even on expensive dates we get better value for our tastes elsewhere Cena', for example but I do encourage you go visit Gallaghers to see if it is a fit for you. You will not be dissapointed. The only minor issue we had was things like mixed up desserts and forgotten drinks by the wait staff, but it was an extremely busy night, the impact was negligible, and ultimately - we're all human right?
Our anniversary date 4 years in a row now. Food was phenomenal as always and service was on point. Never disappoints.Food: 5/5
The food was delicious. My lamb chops was seasoned to perfection!! Nice, elegant place to dine. You have to make reservations on the weekend being as though we didn't know that we set on the balcony and had dinner. Great music, awesome 5 star service. It was a pleasant experience. I will go again and again.Food: 5/5
If I could give a zero, I would. Bought a gift card for an upcoming birthday gift. When the charges hit the bank there was a $20 additional charge that was not authorized. Questioned the person who sold the gift card a few days later who swore it must of been a mistake. Left my number for her to "look up" what happened and haven't heard a word. Got our money back before we left. They did offer a courtesy gift card for us which we declined.
Dinner was delicious and we had great service!Recommended dishesSurf and Turf, Filet and Lobster Tail
Had reservations for lunch with friends. Food was delicious and service was very good. I love the Appetizer Trio and had for my entree on multiple visits including this one. Only real draw back is the great difficulty finding parking during peak hours with very small lot. On street parking was required crossing on a very busy Tyler St or walking some distance on streets behind the restaurant.
A great luncheon day. The service with Miss Jenny was very good.Food: 5/5
