Terrible place for a youth hockey game. Be prepared for gps to send you to multiple closed entrances of the college. When you finally find the way in, you get to slowly creep through a packed campus. Bring good sneakers because you'll have to walk a mile from whatever random parking lot they make you park in. Make sure to leave at least 30 mins earlier than you think. I've never had a smooth entrance to this place. Pros: The spectator section has a lot of spots with good views of the ice. There was very good ice and it's fairly clean for a rink. If the rink was at a different location it would be 4 stars.
Parking is terrible. To get to a decent viewing area on the secondary rink you have to walk past the locker rooms and then find the stairs. School gift store with a Dunkin in it which is nice but that's about it.
Nice arena. I can only review the smaller part as my kids played there. It was relatively warm and ice was nice. Locker rooms where clean. Kids said bathrooms stunk near locker rooms but it is a hockey rink. The main bathrooms in the entrance where nice and clean.
Nice arena, went to a couple games when UMass Lowell played Merrimack in Ice Hockey. Nothing like the Tsongas center, but it was friendly and clean with plenty of parking.
First time here, thought it was a great facility for games also has a team store.
Great practice arena at Merrimack College. There isn't much for spectator seating, as there are just a few chairs located on the 2nd floor balcony.
Very nice rink. Clean, good ice, nice locker rooms and benches.
Nice revamped facility, but parking is a nightmare.
