As the first of its kind, and more than just a furniture retailer, the brothers envisioned a space where beautiful furniture and decor would awaken design inspiration. The store featured staged vignettes where customers were encouraged to mingle among the furniture, explore the curated collections and discover stylish decor.

In 2010, Gallery1 was the first retailer in Atlantic Canada to be recognized with the prestigious, Furniture Retailer of the Year Award presented by the Canadian Home Furnishings Association.
