Attorney Charles N. ("Charlie") Gallo works primarily in the areas of estate planning, elder law, and probate. He represents retirees, individuals planning for retirement, senior citizens, and their families.
Charlie also assists families who have lost a loved one in navigating the estate administration process, as well as families with children or adults who require special needs estate planning.
Additionally, Charlie represents buyers and sellers in residential real estate sales. Charlie also handles name changes for adults, and is available to represent new and existing non-profit corporations. Finally, Charlie prepares income tax returns for individuals, trusts, and estates.
ATTORNEY PROFILE:
Charlie founded Gallo Law Office in 2014 in his hometown of Lynn, Massachusetts. Prior to founding Gallo Law Office, Charlie worked as an attorney at Weston Patrick, PA, a professional association of attorneys located in downtown Boston. Before becoming an attorney, Charlie worked as a paralegal and trust administrator while enrolled in the evening division of Suffolk University Law School. He earned his law degree in 2009.
In 2011, Charlie was asked to co-author Special Needs Trusts for Persons Under Guardianship or Conservatorship, a Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) publication. He also served as a faculty member at the MCLE seminar on the same topic.
In addition to his legal work, Charlie teaches courses at North Shore Community College. He also is the assistant director of a non-profit corporation that has served hundreds of elderly and disabled individuals.
Active in his community, Charlie has served as an elected member of the School Committee, an appointed member of the Citizens Advisory Board for Community Development, and an appointed associate member of the Zoning Board of Appeals for the City of Lynn.
Charlie is a member of the Bar Associations of Greater Lynn and Essex County. Charlie also is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, a professional association of attorneys who are dedicated to improving the quality of legal services provided to people as they age and people with special needs. He is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and serves clients throughout the Commonwealth.
