The Gardner's attention to detail, knowledge of the business and patience made the planning of my brother's services almost enjoyable. I was at a disadvantage planning his memorial from out of town. However, the Gardner's suggestions and guidance made a world of difference. Their honesty and transparency from the beginning made me realize I was in control and had several options. From the pricing to the venue I was beyond pleased.
This was a very good experience during a very rough time. Judge was fantastic in making the family feel comfortable and knowledgeable about the process. The services we nice and the staff was attentive to the family. Not only that, Judge is a really good guy and very professional. Really glad we went with Gardner Funeral Home.
My family used Garder Funeral Home to provide services for our beloved family member. While the family was fully engulfed in the grief process, Ena and the remainder of their team walked us through the process. They personally ensured we were satisfied with every part of the process. Their experience and professionalism left us feeling as though they were part of our family. They treated our heartbroken family with dignity and respect and helped us provide a homegoing ceremony that honored the life of our family member. Thank you for providing excellent service to my family.

We used the service 3 times and the third time was may 2019 for my grandmother's funeral. So many words were exchanged when setting up services that had nothing to do with my grandmother or us her family that ruined her services. There's no way to make a presentation on multimedia. Also, the owner called the police on our family and she was sadly escorted by police to her grave and we were watched by the police until we left, it was very embarrassing especially for my grandmother who was a church woman. Nonetheless, I refuse to ever come back here for services.
The lack of sympathy, insensitivity, poor professionalism and lack of tact was unheard of. Calls of threat and nasty comments from who we thought was a friends makes me every bit of regretful leaving her body in the car of such selfish people Never again, and blow straws for your birthday party but DO stay away from my LOVED LOVED ones FOREVER. WE WERE TOTALLY DISSATISFIED WITH YOUR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE amd lack of empathy. Just so happy to be done with your business. We will direct all our congregation and friends I. Other directions. Completely dissatisfied, Melody
If I could give this rating 100 stars I would. I'm beyond grateful and pleased with their services. Very caring and efficient. I highly recommend everyone in Chicago to use their services and I definitely plan to in the future. Once again, thanks a million from the Smith family. We appreciate you guys very very much. Whatever the Title..Mr &Mrs. Gardner,Pastor and 1st Lady Gardner,Funeral Directors..Service by these two to sum everything up is..Excellence..Please ...if you want the best care possible during your time of loss..No funeral home does it better..and I have been to and seen a lot of them..
