From the initial meeting with Bill, days before my mother's death to making the final arrangements this past week, I knew I had made the right choice of Garner's for Mama's funeral. Bill guided me through the process making it as easy as possible during such a difficult time. Bill and the staff have been very responsive to every request. I had the pleasure of meeting the gentleman that embalms and prepares your loved one. He treats each as if it was his own family member. I was so impressed with the respect and care he gives to the person. Mama was in very capable and professional hands She looked beautiful! My mother in law recently passed, and Garner Funeral Home handled all of the arrangements. They were thorough, thoughtful, and flexible. Our interactions were professional, but personal. The service we received helped make a difficult time a little easier. In retrospect, there isn't one thing about the arrangements or the services that I would have wanted done any differently. Our entire family was satisfied, and we highly recommend Garner Funeral Home.
Bill and Brittany have been amazing! They took such great care of us after the passing of my father George Skinner. Bill and Brittany anticipated our every need and took care of things that we did not even know we needed! I could not recommend them more highly! I wish I could rate them even higher than 5 stars! So supportive and caring. I was really impressed. They went above and beyond in fulfilling the families request during my sister's services, they even did 'little thing's' to make our grief easier. They took care of our needs but also gave personal support. I am so thankful for all the personal touches they provided. I highly recommend them.

Went to pay my respects on a Sunday because I had found out of someone's passing and could not make it to funeral on Monday . To my surprise when I get to the funeral home and thought there was trouble with the door so I called and was informed you have to an appointment on Saturdays and Sundays to get inside, this information should be put in the obituaries so everyone will know so you do not ride 30 minutes or more to pay respects and can not.
Top notch service! They were on top of everything, very approachable, open and honest. For a family member coming cross country they made everything simple, easy and quick. Top notch. 10/10 recommend to any and every one in lenoir county
